Bax Botanics

We were introduced to Bax Botanics by a friend a couple of years ago, as an alternative to a Gin based/alcoholic drink. Not able to tolerate alcohol anymore due to essential medication, I needed to find an 'adult' version of a non-alcoholic drink and Bax Botanics came up trumps with Alcohol and Sugar free spirits.My husband makes 'Mocktails' with both Sea Buckthorn and Verbena non alcohol spirits.Verbena tastes great with tonic water, and lemon slices, or cucumber and ice and a sprig of mint. Sea Buckthorn served with orange slices, tonic and ice are also very popular. Both the Sea Buckthorn and the Lemon Verbena are the nicest non- alcoholic botanical drinks I have tried. They go lovely with good quality tonic and I follow Bax Botanics socials for suggestions on other mixers too. It's always a pleasure ordering them and they are delivered quickly.

First came across Bax Botanics when looking for a Gin substitute for Dry January for my better half. She thoroughly enjoyed the Sea Buckthorn. The lemon verbena makes a refreshing gin substitute but the real star is the sea buckthorn which, with tonic, makes a unique grown-up drink. We like it so much we seem to have built a stash!

Bax Botanics has changed my life!As a hardened gin drinker I was advised to cut back and thanks to Chris and Rose's wonderful distillations I am now six months teetotal.I still make a gin" and tonic after work every night but it doesn't contain alcohol. Win

When pregnant I tried a lot of different alcohol free gins and the sea buckthorn was the winner for me. Years later and I still keep it in stock for whenever I want an alcohol free treat. You only need to use a little per drink (personally about half a shot) and tastes great with a bit of lime cordial as well

I love these products! I started off thinking of these as non-alcoholic gin 'substitutes' but that really doesn't do them justice! Yes, I mix them with tonic, but they're an alternative, not a substitute. They quickly became my go-to '& tonic' for a sundowner and have a permanent place in my drinks cabinet (at the front, where I can easily get to them!). Bax Botanics two of my favourite non-alcoholic spirits. I am a great fan of Verbena in any shape or form. With a light tonic water the Bax Verbena it is perfect for a sprightly and refreshing drink, not only but especially on hot days. The Sea Buckthorn has depth and pizazz which is adds a special note. I’ve just introduced a friend to both drinks who is equally enamoured.
