Best Western Claydon Hotel

No phone signal, WiFi adequate. Room standard, and clean. Noisy in the room can hear every movement in the corridor. The evening meal was edible but not great. Breakfast is not good, poor continental and terrible hot food. Scrambled egg was more like burnt omelette, and bacon tasted funny, so didn't eat either. Staff were nice and friendly

We celebrated our golden wedding at this hotel, some of my guests stayed at the venue, we had a sit down meal for 45 people, can honestly say that the service, food and attention to detail was second to none, food was delivered hot and was first class, how the chef managed to juggle the variety of food cooked to perfection I do not know, his staff was attentive and nothing was to much trouble.We are going to organise a further event with them as we were highly delighted with the experience we enjoyed.Thank you Frankie and his team for a memory we will treasureThis was a first class event.

Gave 5 stars for location as it is literally opposite where I needed to be. In truth it is in a nice little village; convenient for many places but not next to anything significantHotel and rooms in general are quite basic but clean and comfy. Everything worked as expectedStaff were warm, friendly and helpfulDecent hotel at a decent price

Stayed here just for one night and the staff were wonderful, warm, helpful and kind The room was comfortable and had all the facilities needed and all seemed clean and well looked after. We had breakfast and were very impressed with the standard of the cooked breakfast as well as the help yourself buffet. Again, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. And all this at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

Not the cheapest, but still OK value. I'd stay again. Breakfast was superb and the staff were pleasent.

Stayed overnight, following a family party locally. Marina on the desk was so friendly and welcoming - the best customer service I have seen in ages. Comfortable large bed and clean room. Thanks very much for a great stay!

With friends last evening we had a wonderful experience here. The place is modern, comfortable and somewhere you could just relax and unwind. The food was amazingly good, thank you chef, in a lovely restaurant room. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our experience even better. Thank you Best Western. I would highly recommend a visit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Hotel.

Had a large room which was clean and tidy with plenty of storage. Large TV. Bath and excellent Mira shower. Breakfast was good but little hot choice apart from full English. Evening meal also very good although no service on Sunday night. Staff were good and very friendly.

All good but the restaurant is not economic. Food was OK though. The tv was huge. Shower had excellent pressure. Beds were ok too.
