Got my prom dress from here.Julie so helpfully andMade us all welcome.would totally recommend satin and silk.Beautiful dresses.

I had the most amazing experience with satin and silk. I had looked online for a few ideas for a prom dress and found some I liked but as soon as I walked through the doors of the shop Julie pulled around 4-5 dresses, instantly one dress stood out to me and my mum and we went down to the dressing room and it was amazing. It was everything I wanted and I didn’t even say I wanted anything in particular . I can wait to go back for alterations and see my dress complete.I cannot recommend satin and silk enough as a teenager who has anxiety I found my experience calming and I was not pressured into buying anything that I wasn’t comfortable with .

My daughter was apprehensive about finding the right dress for her prom and what it would all entail but from the moment we walked through the door at Satin and Silk she had the most wonderful experience. From choosing her prom dress (there was a huge selection even though we had left it a bit late!) to the fitting and adjustments nothing was too much trouble and she loved every minute. Highly recommend

We had a fabulous experience with Satin + Silk for my daughter’s First Holy Communion dress. I had originally ordered online and got a dress that was so big, it would be difficult to alter. I didn’t know if there were any shops locally that would cater but I decided to try Satin + Silk just in case, as I had heard such good things about the shop. From the moment we walked in I felt immediately calmed in the environment and the lady was so reassuring that we would have a dress in time. The dress my daughter chose is beautiful. It was ordered, arrived and altered within 2 weeks. There was excellent communication along the way and I was very surprised at how affordable it was considering the quality. I think our next big dress event will be prom and I will definitely be going back. I can highly recommend this beautiful shop for any formal dress needs.

Easy to find, easy to communicate with. As appointment goes listend well to what I wanted, beautiful dresses new and sale items. Best of all I found the one after the 2nd try on. Highly recommend.
