My issue is not with the price, but with the borderline malpractice. Mr morris secretary, when I called to enquire about an iub insertion, informed me that there are added fees to the £400 listed for a standard procedure, bringing the total cost to just under £700.Of course, I checked that the procedure follows the insertion guidelines set by the manufacture company, which includes an ultrasound to ensure correct placement. She insisted that there would be no ultrasound included. You'll never meet a physician who approves of this choice. Iub insertion is a blind procedure, with a usg scan being a quick, easy and cheap for checking correct placement. It is common for placements to be out of the target area, leaving women with severe cramps afterward, and requiring a removal. While mr morris claims to be a feminist, I must say that with this information, I can't agree.
