I can wholeheartedly recommend Simon and Irongate Locksmiths. I called Simon based on his good reviews. He did a quick diagnostic over the phone, told me what the problem was, gave me a quote which he stuck to and his estimated time of arrival. He did a really thorough job and explained everything to me. He gives a 1 year warranty in his work and the work was completed at a very reasonable price.

I couldn’t recommend Simon more! Fantastic, efficient service. Nothing was a problem. I felt at ease as soon as I contact him about my front door not opening. He arrived promptly and replaced the lock straight away at a very competitive price (I called a few locksmiths!!). Will definitely be using your services again in the future.

Simon is great - he's saved me on more than one occasion now, most recently after the previous owner of my flat decided to let themselves in after it was sold to me. His prices are always reasonable (the whole job often costs less than other locksmiths charge for just coming out), and is polite and courteous. I now keep his number saved in my phone and feel safer for knowing that if I lose my keys and I'm in a jam that I can call him.

Not only is he good at what he does, he’s such a lovely person! We called at around at 11pm as we locked ourselves out of the house due to the door automatically locking. Even though it was late he arrived within 30 minutes and he was so kind, nothing seemed too much trouble for him. Thank you for saving us sleeping outside tonight! Highly recommend!

My front door lock broke at 9 pm and I couldn’t lock my door . Simon came straight out and made it safe for the night before replacing the broken mechanism first thing next morning. I was so happy with the prompt , professional, reasonably priced service. I definitely recommend Irongate locksmiths South Shields and will not hesitate to use again.
