Thank you SO much for your great work in recovering my data from my USB memory stick. I had no recent backup (I know!!) and a lot of very valuable files which would have taken hours to rewrite. Exceptional customer service. After my external HDD dropped on the floor I thought I'd lost four years of work - I contacted R3 on the evening it happened and got a response within 30 minutes. They arranged UPS collection for free for me the following day, and my hard drive was collected and arrived at their lab on the same day. With standard service it then took only a week before they had finished the recovery and got a stable hard drive back to me, with 95% of my files recovered. Now, the price I paid for this was steep, but data recovery is expensive in general and with the professionalism of the service I got with R3 I would say it is somewhat justified. They continually updated me on the process over email, and answered very quickly whenever I had a question. I don't know how you did it, but thank you so much for getting my files back to me.

I had a NAS drive which failed to boot after a series of power cuts. I removed the drive from the enclosure and connected it to my laptop. I managed to recover some of the data using some free Linux recovery software but the drive was operating extremely slowly and many folders appeared empty. In desperation I started looking for a reputable data recovery company. What a minefield! I almost went with a particular company and whilst double checking the company's credentials I came across Andy's website exposing their poor customer service and questionable business practices. As a result I looked at Andy's own company (R3) and after more research and a call from Andy, I decided to use them. I'm so glad I did. Professional from start to finish. Picked up the drive, sent me a full file listing, recovered all of the data and returned on a new drive (which I supplied) in one week, all for the original quoted price. Not cheap but competitive and you get what you pay for. Thank you R3 team.

I have now used R3 twice, and on both occasions they have provided a fantastic service. Keeping me up to date with the progress of my request and doing everything they can to help. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend R3 to anyone who is having any data recovery issues.

r3 data is real deal amoung lot of scams .they help recover data honestly and reliably. I had a raid problem , and i was not in good situation. I was getting quotations and reviews all over the place running in thousands. Then by pure chance i got in touch with r3data recovery I spoke to andy MD. I initially went to another supplier but after speaking to andy i decided to take my disks to him in person in sheffeild. Oarrival in sheffeild, Andy showed me his lab, and its the best lab I have seen. I am in IT myself, but R3/Andy/his team know what they are doing. Lot of people looking at desperations give mindless quotations and andy charged me what was fair and gave me the service and timelines which were real .I got phone call on every stepp. R3 recovvered my data next day, gave the disk to me, charged me absolutely fairly and i left with thanks and gratitute to andy /r3 AND his team. I will highly reccomend R3 . they have best team, labs and are not people who will try to take advantage. Thank you again. A massive thanks to Andrew and Will.My son fractured/Broke my USB.The USB contained Very important information relating to university work and other personal information.I called up R3 Data Recovery who are based in Sheffield and was introduced to Andrew at around 9pm. Andrew gave attention to my issue and listened and provided the right advice and did not try to fob me off for such as small task.After being given initial advice i decided to call around other place near Birmingham to save the Journey travelling to Sheffield (85 Miles up North) i wasn't getting anywhere with the advices i initially received from Andrew and was constantly told that i would be at risk of losing my data and we cannot guarantee the safe return of the information on your USB.I got fed up and contacted Andrew and told him that i am on my way. On arrival i was greeted by Andrews colleague 'Will' who had the issue fixed within 30 minutes he contacted me and i was shocked and over the moon.A massive thank you to the whole team you save my hard work that could have actually cost me my life.I can only recommend that you expand offices to other parts of the country as we need people like you.However i will be highly recommending you to friends, family and colleagues.Many ThanksDawhud

Unfortunately had a very stressful experience with this company. I contacted them following a knock to a hard drive I had been using on a shoot production which then struggled to open imagery. R3 agreed to try to extract the files to another drive.I had primarily been liaising with Andy, who at first seemed very helpful but as time went on I became growingly frustrated with the way in which he handled the case.I had been quoted for the emergency package of 72 hours of work and specified via email that if the work would exceed this or if any new costs arose that these should be ran past me before proceeding. I had asked for regular updates but each time I asked, I was promised an update later in the day and each time this did not happen - I had to instead call Andy myself to try and get an understanding of what what going on.I later came to realise that information Andy was providing me with was not clear and there was a grave error of miscommunication on his part which led the company to attempt to invoice me for almost 2 grand - double the original quote & had not notified me of this increase in cost or why this was necessary.I had given 3 priority folders for R3 to recover - one of which was very very urgent, I had specified this when dropping off the hard drive and on a later call. I called Andy 3 days after they had received the hard drive to find that the images from the urgent folder were 'ready' and I had not been notified as asked. Following this they advised they could send a private driver to my home address the following morning - by the next morning they told me they had recovered 100% of the 3 priority folders. I later came to learn this was not the case and roughly 700 of the images from the urgent folder will not open.I was offered a private driver to deliver the new hard drive to my home address. Upon enquiring the cost of this I decided to travel to Sheffield myself to collect the hard drive in person - this was a 3 hour round trip for me. Thank god I did as when I arrived and checked the hard drive on my personal mac I found that it would not read. It turned out that Andy had not informed the technicians that I was a mac owner and they had written the drive for windows use only. I then had to wait 1 hour 30 minutes for them to correct the problem - making me late for a meeting I had later than evening. I dread to think about if I had paid for a private driver for it to arrive and be formatted incorrectly. Again, upon returning home I found that a portion of the files still did not work as I had been told.I am honestly appalled at this poor level of service, for a lab to charge such a high amount and be this unorganised. It is really unfortunate as the other members of staff / technicians I spoke to where apologetic for the circumstances and did everything they could to help. It is the actions of the manager which mean I will never return here or recommend R3 to any of my colleagues or friends.

R3 were not successful in retrieving my data as my hard drive was deemed too damaged to recover any data on, but they did honour their no data no fee promise - I would certainly recommend them to anybody.They got back to me with a week too, and were up front about the potential costs in the event of a successful recovery.Andy also helped me get a refund from a competitor (datarecoveryspecialists.com, owned by Fields) with no fees attached. This would come to £624 of recovered costs.Honest and hard working, hopefully your hard drive is in better condition than mine - and go straight to these people rather than anybody else.

My hard drive full of every family photo for the last 20 years died. It also contained every document I had saved in that time. A hard drive full of very sentimental files such as photos of my children being born. Devastated at the prospect of losing all of this data, I set about finding a recovery service. So many providers had patchy reviews and didn't look legit until I came across R3. The service was very smooth and 99.9% of my data was recovered. Just 12 files could not be recovered out of 77,000!A very professional service which is highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant and bona fide company that does what is says in its company title. How important is your lost data to you??? Well if it means as much as it does to me and you are stupid enough to not have those back ups in place, then do not complain about the costs to recover them. Relatively speaking, was quite cheap considering there was 25 years worth of data recovered.I used my credit card on this failure on my part but don't regret a single pound spent. Will and his team recovered the data from an old Linux system drive and put it onto a brand new one terabyte external hard drive for me ready to run under Windows.To all persons who need a reputable company and are trawling through various Google searches, this is the real deal and actually do their recovery on site.
