Blest Curry
Had a chance to visit this place yesterday. Wasn’t sure to go in as the place looked quiet but gave it a try as it was getting quite late for me. They had a buffet for £11.99. Although a few dishes not available but I absolutely loved the taste of whatever was there. The manager brought me freshly made onion bhaji and freshly made flaky samosas which were quite nice.I don’t live around Lincoln and this was my first visit but I’m surely impressed at the fresh food, amazing taste and great service. My most favourite item was Bombay potatoes, quite spicy and exactly to my liking. They could however have a little more variety on the dessert side of things. Will visit again when in town.

Really enjoyed the buffet. No wait no fuss goodness. Tasty and yummy. Looks don’t always reflect the food pedigree. Give it a try. Blest is recommended.

This place always exceeds expectations. Definitely not your standard all you can eat establishment. Food always tastes so fresh and at a very good price too. So pleased to see it open again after our lockdown. Tonight we had our all you can eat served by table service. Always a pleasure to be a customer here. The owner and his staff are so friendly and professional too. Been four or five times now since opening last year and definitely will be coming along more. Thank you!

Me and my friends went Blest Curry on saturday night and the food was amazing and we had a good time. Especially the lamb curry on the buffet was amazing. For 17.99£ it was worth. The guy on the front desk was also well with words.

Don't be fooled by the internal look, the paper signs and menu - I think this is a little hidden gem! It's clear food to cooked well lto order and is decent quality - wasn't busy, pleasant staff. A decent curry at a decent price. The only negative that saw me give 3 not 4 stars was the lack of any alcohol - they didn't have a licence. I really wanted a beer with my curry!

Great inconspicuous curry house that have a buffet-style option for dining.Whilst you can order from the menu you can select the buffet and try different, and familiar, curries that you maybe always wanted to try but didn't want to risk a whole meal on.Whilst a small selection in comparison to what you may expect at a large fusion buffet restaurant you know that it is all fresh, cooked almost to order. The samosas (both meat and veg) were excellent, along with the delicious bhaji! Even the traditional South Asian desserts were a delight and not simply an afterthought like in most places.Thoroughly recommend, shame they don't serve alcohol but understand why they may not; and its certainly not a deal breaker!

When the order arrived, several dishes were missing. We immediately rang the restaurant, who were not too bothered and said they would send out the missing dishes. With the missing dishes being the rice and one persons curry, we couldn’t start without the missing items arriving.Whilst mistakes happen, you would have expected these to have been sent out straight away, the missing dishes arrived nearly 2 hours after the initial order arrived. Needless to say, after trying to keep the original order warm in the oven, they were ruined. The whole meal was ruined and every time we rang to chase were told ‘it was on its way’ and ‘there is a lot of traffic’ (at 9:30pm…..)If you are happy to be treated like this then order here, although if you actually want to be treated like a customer and are hoping to receive a complete order, I would recommend avoiding this place and trying one of the many other Curry Houses in Lincoln.

Last time I'm getting a curry from here. Load of rubbish. Curry was alright. The driver decided to ring the doorbell 6 times consecutively then bang loadly, 8pm at night. 2 kids now wide awake. The 'spicy' chips were some cold soggy french fries with THE smallest amount of salt on them. What an absolute waste of money. It's disgusting that every curry house in Lincoln gets away with being well below the national standard.

Visited Lincoln recently and looked for a local curry establishment that needed to be halal for me and my wife. This little place was located close to our hotel and seemed to be rated well online. We arrived to a nice little shop slightly dated but still had the feel of a good atmospheric restaurant. We chose to eat off the menu and not the buffet. We ordered a large mixed grill, lamb biryani and a mirch massalla chicken. Maybe being from an ethnic househould our tastebuds are quite different but this food was not to standard. The mixed grill has uncooked reheated microwaved meat served on fried onions. These had obviously not come out of a tandoori oven and the portions were small for the price charged. The lamb biryani was very oily and not well prepared the rice was very odd. Also i have never known a biryani to come without a fried egg on top accompanied without a fresh riata. The mirch massala chicken dish was mostly onion and pepper and possibly closer to a dupiaza then anything else, overspiced and lacking in real authentic taste. Overall the food was below par and lacking in any type of freshness and we ultimately left feeling we were served food that was created from the buffet. The waiters were pleasant and the service was good but for over £40 we honestly felt hard done by and we chose to not eat much due to our somewhat unfortunate experience.
