Bay View Restaurant & Bar, Gwesty Gadlys Hotel

Away from civilization . Rude service at reception but quite nice the first day . I suppose it depends on the shifts . If you are lucky tou get to have the nice people. Room was decent but no heating was working. Please book your place for food at the restaurant . As it is the only one around there therefore as tourist there we had no idea and we went to bed hungrybdue to restauran t being fully booked and only place available was 1 hour drive away . Other than that all good

We stopped here for a drink and some light snacks initially but the snacks were so good we ended up staying for our evening meal.First off the location is excellent. Plenty of space outside and lots of tables dotted about the grounds. Ample parking too, including electric car charing points. Children's play area is excellent. Lots of tall pine trees add to the rural atmosphere of the place.Food. Menu choice is excellent even for vegetarians. We ordered food and opted to sit outside. The weather was mild but on the cusp of being a little chilly. The manager spotted us outside with blankets and offered us a table inside and to bring the dogs. Top service. Restaurant was busy ( bank holiday ) but each member of staff we interacted with were exceptionally helpful. Food arrived promptly, not too quick and not too slow. The food was amazing! It's a great moment when out with the family when you happen upon a place and everything is spot of. What an evening.Thank you to all the staff and especially to the smartly dressed gent ( assuming manager ) who really looked after us.10/10.

I don't know where to start because the service was very poor. Never asked us once how it was or if there were any issues. Food was very standard had no fish and wasn't told this until we went to order. Also expensive for the quality of food. I would recommend going to the lastra farm instead. Better food and service for the same price or less.

We ate here during our stay in Cemaes Bay. The food and quality of service were really excellent. Particular credit to the several vegetarian options with a bit of thought put into them, in comparison to some other places in the area. Lovely views across the bay too. Recommended.

4 of us had an evening meal here after it was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. All three courses were beautifully cooked and portion size was on the large size so none of us went home hungry. Price was on the high side but the quality was worth it. Some of the restaurant is dog friendly so our canines were walked up there. We will be returning before our holiday ends.

Excellent place. Everything was just right from the moment you walk through the door. Can't fault the place, especially the location and large grounds. Through the grounds and pop out just up the road from the lovely beach. Food was great, very well presented and tasty. The location is stunning. We will be returning.

We stayed in the motorhome Park. Great location 5mins from beach. Toilets and showers good and clean. Water and electric on pitch and had lots of room, although ours was on a slight slope.Staff very friendly and welcoming in reception. Food in the bar was top notch, good choice and very tasty. Again staff very good...well worth a visit. You can also boom breakfast if your in the touring park too.
