Although I love Go Outdoors I think it is wise to phone up before hand to check stock. No gas….. again or other items I was after. Still super friendly helpful staff though

Awful customer service, faulty bike. Refused any reasonable customer support. Spoke to their phone support and was told to bring the bike the bike to any store and be turned away after driving 130 mile round-trip (as on holiday) for no reason. Awful

Good service. Good location. Good prices. Million times better than Sports Direct but not as good as a proper local outdoor shop (are there any left?) Don't forget your Duke of Edinburgh card for extra discount and/or the National Trust. Sometimes the discounts stack, sometimes they don't.

The store is laid out very nice and easy access to all sections. However, even with members discount I think the pricing is quite high on most items. It is nice to be able to look around without being harrased by staff wanting to know if you need help as is the case in most stores. Well worth £5 membership if you intend purchasing throughout the year.
