Iceberg Glass

I had a very lovely experience in Iceberg glass today. I got 2 lovely necklace charms of Nessie but unfortunately one had a small accident. The woman in the store was so helpful and kind when I went back to ask what the best way to repair it was she said she can make me a new one for me, it was fascinating to watch her make another one for my daughter. My daughter absolutely loved her own specially made Nessie. They had gorgeous Christmas decorations too!

We found this place at Fort Augustus after a trip around Scotland, and we were trying to get something appealing as memento. If you're looking for an original hand-crafted souvenir from the Loch Ness, this is your place. I saw her work there creating these beautiful small figurines which are absolutely cute. Also, her packaging is bomb proof so fear not, it will make it home!

An excellent place to buy anything glass, nice friendly staff, would highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful little shop owned by lovely people. Would definitely recommend dropping by for very reasonably priced souvenirs, and even if you're not in the mood to buy anything, watching the skilled glassmakers work their craft is mesmerising in its own right. Five stars.

Nice little shop,but unfortunately not very friendly,as we went in the lady jumped up from her work station & started following us around and moving items about on her shelfs,it was extremely obvious she didnt trust us,I was going to buy some bits for holiday gifts but was made to feel so unwelcome we left without purchasing anything,was even followed & watched outside, wondered if all pensioner's get that treatment or perhaps she just didn't like us.. I understand that shop owners need to be vigilant but her actions were totally over the top,my sales would have only come to about £25 and I guess not enough to worry about.

A lovely shop full of local items and glass works. Some, like the iceicles we bought for our Christmas tree, are made on site.
