The appointment system is broken, can't get through at all after lengthy wait on redial. If you eventually do, no appointments available & told to go to A & E if in pain. On the very rare occasion you can successfully get an appointment care is provided by professionals. One particular Receptionist is rude & aggressive & clearly should not be working in a surgery interacting with patients. If you email the Practice Manager to complain, no response. Shocking system!

Making an appointment is a nightmare over the phone. Somedays rang up to 50 times in 30 minutes and by the time the call is answered there are no appointments. Even poping in at 8.30 at the surgery to get an appointment doesn't guarantee you one. Never trust the text reminder. The initial booking time replaces by the text without the staffs awareness (as they tell you) making you miss the whole appointment.

Never, ever feel the need to write a review but my word, this place needs to sort itself out or simply close.I don't want to sound harsh, and I hope these comments can be taken in the right way. I understand how hard people work, I understand the stresses the NHS and any medical staff are under. But at the same time, there is a basic level you need to hit and this place, and the pharmacy next door, need to go back to beyond basics. It is always a nightmare trying to get even something as basic as a prescription sorted, I honestly fear for anyone who has a serious need for medical help. There is no communication, every member of staff seems either so disinterested or so down trodden that they fail to function effectively, it is so sad to see, but also absolutely infuriating.Every month, without fail, there is at least one issue with getting a prescription. The staff in reception of the doctors are, again without wanting to sound harsh, completely hopeless. Whether this is through incompetence, lack of care, or just plain laziness I don't know, but you have to help others to help yourselves.I have recently moved and am relieved I won't have to deal with Hillcrest again.Take this positively, improve, step up, take pride in your work or please put people out of their misery and shut this place down. Dramatic change is needed and it can't come soon enough for those who continue to need it.

Never able to get an appointment. You can be first in the queue at 8am only for reception to pick up the phone say no appointments before slamming the phone down. They don't even give you a chance to speak. The rare opportunity you do get to speak your told you'll just have to try again at 8am the next day, yeah great, I'll just take time off work so I can call again hoping to get an appointment. practice is a joke. If I could give it no stars I would.

Is there a zero star option?Rude reception staff, practitioners that couldn't give a damn or even bother to read your notes, and no one who cares enough to improve things.Had a receptionist hang up on me when I asked to speak to someone else and what her name was. When complaining to the practice manager she said there is nothing she feels like she can do. Reception staff will lie to you, try to convince you they have contacted you when they haven't, I had one tell me multiple times my prescription wasn't there when it was in the pile. It is as if they are set in to auto response to be as obstructive as possible and convince you that it's you that's got it wrong not them. I have seen them dropping patients prescriptions in the car park and not even noticing until being told by someone else. This surgery is a complete disgrace and not fit for it's purpose. Patients are not a priority here and I'd advise anyone who can to go somewhere else.

After what was a tough time for the Practice over the past couple of years it finally feels like a quality service has returned. There have been a few things this past month I have needed to phone them about, whether for myself or my 2 sons, and they have offered us a face to face appointment everytime and the new GP's are fantastic. I have seen 3 different ones the last month so it looks like they've finally got the adequate staff to meet the need of the community. It's also brilliant to finally have face to face appointments back.

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been a patient here since I was a kid and I can’t even put into words how utterly useless this place and its staff are. Doctors are non existent and I’m pretty sure they haven’t even bothered to return to work since covid. The receptionists are so arrogant and don’t care in the slightest about their patients or their job. Prescriptions are constantly wrong or most of the time not even looked at and I have been months at a time without any medication. If you are a patient here please do yourself a favour and change surgeries because this place and the people that work here are an absolute joke. I wouldn’t trust this place with a goldfish let alone my health.

When I'm calling at 8:30 they said that I must call with my problem after 10 am. When I called after 10am they said that I need call tomorrow at 8:30 and when I wanted to explain that I was calling today, they started being rude and hung up. Why this medical centre still exist?
