From beginning to end the experience was first class the blinds are excellent and the finish is amazing

Happy with my blinds and Thomas was great. Really tidy work too. Just a star off for the week or so delay in receiving them and I also think it would be ideal if they recycled their own packaging afterwards rather than the customer having to do it. Overall, enjoying the look of my new blinds and The Blind Guy were the best and cheapest of the three companies I had out to measure/quote.

In April Blind guy fitted our full house with new blinds. Most of the blinds we were pleased with but we had some issues with the Bloc blinds initially sold to us for the bedrooms, which turned out not to be suitable for our window frames are were having to go back. We also, once seeing the blinds were not happy with how they looked – the owner didn’t show us any images of the bloc blinds at our first initial sales meeting so this was the first time seeing them in person. I asked since they were not suitable for our windows and were having to be returned could be have perfect fit blinds instead, which the owner agreed and I paid the extra cost to have these ordered. When they got fitted we realised our handles were scraping the frames when opening and closing, this is when the problems started. We reported the issue middle of June and today we are no further forward. Twice over this time they have been back out to try and resolve and this is only due to my constant phone calls to the office trying to move things forward. I have asked the owner for a refund after solutions given have failed which he has refused and given me the only option of replacing my window handles, which I have expressed I don’t want to do. I checked with trading standards who confirmed I am in my right to request a refund as the handles should’ve been taken into account at the time of measuring. I’ve never known any company to take 0 accountability like this and making me feel like this is all my fault. I have asked several times for an itemised bill and not been given one to this day. Left me no option but to try and claim via my bank. Full experience has been very stressful and upsetting.

Amazing to the point exactly what I asked for 5/5 next time will get bathroom and kitchen with discount fingers crossed the guy that installed it done it nicely and professionally

I would highly recommend The Blind Guy & Shutters. I have recently just had my blinds fitted on 5 sash windows. I am very happy with them and the service by Thomas. He was punctual, polite and done a great job. Also I had to do this out of work hours and this was no problem. I set this up via email for the initial appointment to get measured up and the response times were great.Keep up the good work and good luck for the future.Jamie
