Well what can I say I’m back again. This is my third review as it’s the third car I’ve bought from Hillington Motor Company. My first encounter was about eight years ago when I bought a Volvo and then about four years ago I bought a Mercedes’ A class and now I’m back again and bought a Jaguar F type. Always excellent service and amazingly helpful and totally upfront and honest. When I first started my relationship with Hillington Motor Company young Scott was a fresh faced young salesman - still as enthusiastic but maybe not so young. All the staff are still the same - which certainly says something as usually garages seem to have a huge turnaround in sales staff.Being on my own it’s great to be treated with honesty and truthfulness. They helped me also with the sale of my car and whenever I needed advice on servicing and tyre replacement nothing was ever too much trouble.Over the years I’ve recommended both friends and family whenever they are looking for a new car to make Hillington Motors their first port of call.

Bought my Jaguar there, dealt with Scott and it was painless from start to finish. Couldn't view the car as I am in Kent and they are in Glasgow. Scott took me through everything and was 100% honest and genuine. The car was delivered and was exactly as he said. I cannot recommend them enough and will check their stock when I buy again. I didn't give a review until now because I wanted to see how the car behaves. First of all, I want to thank Scott (I think it was him if I'm not mistaken) for letting me do a test drive, he gave me enough time to check absolutely everything. The car was bought in February and so far I haven't had any mechanical or electrical problems. A person who knows what he sells from A to Z. I reserved the car online and went to pick it up in a week, fresh MOT and valet done. Congratulations.

I have just purchased a car from Hillington Motor Company. This is the 3rd car my family have purchased over the last 10 years. We always feel looked after by the staff. They keep you up to date with everything and are very friendly and professional.

Great experience! We love cars and change them often but can't remember the last time we had such a fun experience in the process. Our family were all welcomed with first class hospitality and plenty of patter abounded. What about the car you ask? Absolutely delighted with it and the service provided. Thanks go to Scott and all the team. We will be back.

Exceptionally poor experience.My niece left a deposit of £500 for a car one week ago today, but changed her mind the next day and communicated this to the company. My niece never visited the site and put a deposit down blind on the car based on the website information.Since then, this company have retained the deposit and refused to answer her queries via phone and email or to repay the deposit.I called on her behalf today and spoke to Scott McGill (who initially denied he was a director) who then became quite angry when I noted that he was indeed a director of the company through Companies House information. Scott then tried to justify the retention of the deposit as they had incorrectly deemed the car to be sold when it was quite clear that this was not the case. Scott then hung up and switched the company phone over to voice message.The facts of the matter in this case are irrefutable - it is the theft of a refundable deposit coupled with slippery and untrustworthy behaviour from supposed motor trade professionals. It now looks likely that we will have to involve trading standards and small claims in ensuring these monies, put forward in good faith, are returned to our niece who suffers from anxiety. To give a young lady the runaround in this manner is simply inexcusable.I would strongly recommend that this company us avoided at all costs.

Picked up my BMW 1 series yesterday from Hillington Motor Company. It was a no hassle experience, Scott was great to deal with and very understanding when I encountered a few problems with the sale of my own car. A great place to check out if you are looking for a car. Thanks Scott

Absolutely tremendous company. Highly professional and efficient. I recently bought a fabulous Mercedes car in excellent condition as described. The car was also kindly delivered to me ahead of schedule fully valeted with an excellent detailed handover. I paid a reasonable admin fee for the paperwork which I would definitely recommend for peace of mind. Thanks again to Scott and Susan and the team at Hillington for all your help and reassurance in the buying process it's truly appreciated. I highly recommend Hillington, a genuine company with no hard sell and genuine people.

Get a full independent inspection done of the car before you buy, better still… walk away and never return as this man is vile, twisted waste of space.I have a full phone recording of this man giving threats and upsetting a woman to the point she has moved house.There are much nicer people out there and better car sales too.This man should be in prison for what he has done to me and others.Scott you are a terrible man and are a disgrace!!!
