I have carried out my last three IMI accreditations at S&B and have always had a positive experience. I have always found James Woodman to be knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend S&B for any training needs.

Recently carried out VDA accreditation, very positive experience, something that i and im sure others never look forward to having to do. However James made me feel at ease and gave me the confidence to succeed in this stressful situation. Highly recommended courses at S&B Automotive Academy.

My time at S&B was an undoubted success overall.I achieved a Distinction in Level 3 Heavy Vehicle, and all of this was made possible by Martin Smith, of which I owe a great deal of gratitude to.He is one of the most knowledgeable professionals I have encountered during my time in the industry, not to mention an exceptional lecturer , and will certainly go down as one of the most influential people in my own career in years to come.A special mention also goes to Nick Lewis for his reassuringly laid back, but incredibly in depth teaching.Martin and Nick, thank you for your patience, care and perseverance.

I recently attended the VDA accreditation.I was told before I attended that it was a challenging however James explained everything very clearly and made me feel at ease giving me the confidence to succeed.I highly recommend the courses at a and b training academy and James as an assessor.

Been with S&B for the last 3 years and they have been more the amazing. I received a lot of help from both Ben Potts(Lecturer) Jason Baker(Account Manager), and a load more. all members of staff are extremely helpfully, kind and especially funny. Wouldn't of wanted to my training anywhere else. would highly recommend S&B to anyone either for an apprenticeship or extra off the job training(such as the MOT and welding courses

Upon finally finishing all my exams id like to recommend my lecture Jerry Coole (paint department) he has gone above and beyond helping to get me through the exams and making sure i had everything in place thats needed. A brilliant lecturer with tons of experience and knowledge.The overall experience at s&b unfortunately wasn't great due to both covid (which couldn’t be helped) and the amount of lectures we have had over the 4 years, However jerry did a brilliant job with our last few blocks and helped us gain the knowledge and confidence needed and get up to scratch in a short time frame. Honestly Cant thank him enough!would definitely recommend the paint technician course.

Recently completed Light Vehicle Inspection with James Woodman. A very interesting course and I learnt so much over the 2 days I spent here. James makes everything so easy and explains it just how you need to know it! Would 100% recommend!

My time at the college has been good, they have facilities that help develop your learning massively. Majority of teachers take the time to help where needed. My issue is that I feel there is not enough time taken in the workshop throughout the 3 years here but apart from that, this college is highly recommended.

Been to S&B Automotive Academy to carry out my VDA training this week. Absolutely brilliant training carried out by James woodman teaching us a lot in a short space of time before we had to carry out our assessments making us believe in ourselves throughout the training. Thank you James

I've recently just sat the VDA full route training and accreditation course at S & B training academy. My Instructor James Woodman's method of training can only be described as exceptional. He turned what can be an anxious and daunting experience into an enjoyable and relaxed one. His knowledge is incredible and he explains all areas / aspects of the course easily without over complicating things. The training was delivered in a way that was easy to understand the task ahead and what is expected of you to get you through successfully.Any questions that were raised with James were answered clearly giving me and my peers a greater all round understanding when unsure.I would like to express my thanks to all at S & B especially James Woodman for making my experience with them a great one!Keep up the fantastic work everybody!
