Kitchen Doors & Worktops

We wanted to support a local company! As other reviews, from ordering to delivery was fine. However the fitter was sub contracted. He worked by himself for 2 days and rushed out of the door with his money. The fitting was sub standard to the extent that after a week of phone calls both to the fitter and the shop we have given up. No one is interested in after sales service. We have had a leak under the sink since the fitter left the house. The cooker hood is badly fitted, one of the doors has chipped paintwork, the worktop was fitted damaged, filled and coloured hoping we wouldn’t notice and the kick boards have been fitted by screwing the bottom of our cupboards. The worktop was not sealed to the tiles so water can get down the back. What can I say? DO YOU NEED THIS HASSLE!!!

I was really hoping to be able to give a 5 star review for this company. Up the point of the installation everything was going well and the communication with everyone was brilliant.The new worktop installers were fine, but the fitters who were responsible for taking the old worktop off and replacing taps etc damaged a couple of parts of the kitchen and didn't re-fit the dishwasher. I complained to the company several times over the phone and eventually wrote to them twice as nothing was being done.It is safe to say that I am being totally ignored now and I would not recommend paying a penny to this company until all complaints are resolved because they just don't care once they have your money.It would be ironic if I received a reply to this review given the no response situation, but if they do, a good first step would be an apology.5/5 pre installation, 3/5 for installation, 0/5 for post installationEdit: I did receive a call after posting this. The problem on their end seemed to be a disconnect between customer service / sales and the fitters. I didn’t receive an apology and they hung up on me.

My initial enquiry was handled well, I had someone come out within a good time frame and then the fitter came to double check measurements.That’s where the good ends.I had them fitted, one was damaged, another was left leaning, the hinges weren’t right on another.I called and was told they would replace and would contact me to sort date. I heard nothing. I had to call multiple times for someone to come.Fitter came but he didn’t have the hinges so said he’d need to come back!Once gone he’d put a screw through the replacement door!I’ve complained to be contacted to say it would be replaced….again!Well months have passed and guess what? No contact.I would just avoid this company.

If you only want to replace existing doors their product quality is good. If you want any changes or additional plumbing work done DO NOT USE THEM!! The technical surveyor made errors leading to an incomplete order received and kitchen couldn't be configured as promised. Our kitchen looked great but pipework leaked from day one. Our sink waste water was draining into our new washing machine. Once we paid nobody was interested in resolving the problems. No-one in authority has had the courtesy to respond to our complaints. We had to have remedial work done by another company at our own expense.This company has already accepted that our installation was a disgrace and paid us a refund so they must have meant to add their comment to another unhappy customers post. Please remove it from mine.

We employed this company to replace my kitchen worktops, sink, tap, and floor plinths. The quality of the goods was very poor. The sink in particular is of very poor quality and very easy to scratch. The kitchen fitters were incompetent and left my kitchen looking an absolute mess. The plinths under the fridge and dishwasher were cut uneven and left a gap under them apparently for the doors to open. The sink that they fitted has been unusable due to the fact that the water wont empty properly and has flooded my cupboard. So we have been throwing the water away outside. We complained to the company only to be told that we employed the fitters separately and needed to contact them if we were unhappy. They just wasn’t bothered once they had our money and refused to contact the fitters and said it was up to us. I m sorry but we employed this company! They are their fitters. We should not have had to chase them to come back and rectify the faults and we should not have had to put up with the verbal abuse that ensued with the fitter repeatedly calling my husband a liar, which was a total disgrace. After several weeks they have come back to rectify the problems raised however, they have said the sink is our problem to solve as its blocked up. AMAZING it worked perfectly ok before these guys touched it. When we first approached this company the salesman told us that our appliances would have to be taken out so that the worktops could be put into place properly and even said that our new intergrated washer would be put in place for us in the price quoted. This was all totally rubbish and my husband was apparently a liar!! I would not recommend either the company its products and certainly not its fitters and I am considering recalling some of the funds paid to compensate for a plumber to come out and put my sink right. I can not tell you how upsetting this has been as we have waited a long time to do this make over.

I am very pleased with my new kitchen doors, drawer fronts, sink and taps. The fitters, Steve and Mark arrived promptly and the work was completed in just under a day. They returned quickly to fix two very minor problems, and were even kind enough to fix a problem not related to the installation. Would definitely recommend.

If you want a good experience, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, they are the worst company that we have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. We have just had our replacement doors and unit fronts completed TODAY, 8 1/2 months after the initial fit. We had 4 doors to small, 2 doors delaminating, 2 fronts damaged. They are very unresponsive, all you ever get is the office person Karen, who just fobs you off. I wrote to the Director Tony Holmes and the area manager D. West, they both ignored me until I took advice from Citizens Advice and sent them letters asking for a time scale the job will be finished or the matter will be taken further.To sum it up it was a very stressful unpleasant experience which no one should have to go through.

An excellent service throughout, Karen in the showroom was very helpful, delivery was on time and very well done. Tony the fitter was absolutely superb, he did an excellent job and was a pleasure to have in the house.

From my initial enquiry I sent several emails to Sean asking questions. All of which were answered promptly. He was very helpful. Once I decided I would like to receive a quotation Sean arranged for a surveyor to come to the house with samples and measure up. He arrived promptly, along with samples of kitchen doors and worksurfaces, to measure up. He gave us the quotation there and then. It included all of the cupboard trims, the bridges over the two windows and the plynths as well as the doors and surfaces. We were happy with the price and placed our order. A 50% deposit was promptly paid and we were very excited to get started! A few days later Tony the fitter arrived to measure up again as a double check. Over the next few weeks Karen from the office called me to keep me informed and to give me a date for fitting. Unfortunately the worksurfaces didn't turn up at their warehouse from the suppliers so I was called to reschedule. Karen was most apologetic and she arranged for them to be delivered direct to our address on the first day of the refit on 14th July. She was very helpful , friendly and polite at all times. The big day arrived and along came Tony the fitter. What a lovely, pleasant and upbeat man. He arrived at 7.20am and got stuck straight in. He worked like a trojan all day. He came back the next day and finished the job by lunchtime. To say it looks amazing is an understatement! We had a two tone kitchen and are so happy Iwe did. What a difference it has made. It has certainly given our kitchen the WOW factor. The gas fitter (Andy) was due to come on the following day to fit the hob. However Tony called him to say he had finished the job and was it possible for him to come that afternoon. The gas fitter asked Tony to give me his phone number to call him a bit later and he would see what he could do. He then arranged to come at 3.30pm that afternoon. He turned up promptly and got the job done. So there you have it. A two day turnaroundand I have an amazing kitchen. Thank you to each and every one of you involved. I can't sing your praises enough and will definitely be recommending you to friends and family!
