Prior to speaking to Joe at Silvergate me and my girlfriend had tried another company for mortgage advice, the other company essentially told us we would struggle to get a mortgage and then didnt get back to us with a response as to why.After speaking to Joe, he was honest with us and explained everything really well and we left our mortgage attempt for a little longer. A few months later Joe got back in touch with us and now a few months later again we have now purchased our first home. Joe was a constant source of advice throughout and was always swift with his response, whether by email or on the phone. The whole experience was made a lot less stressful and he made everything much easier to understand and i would definitely recommend anyone, especially first time buyers to Joe.

When we needed to upgrade our wills, David Turner from Silvergate, met with us to understand our requirements, and we also discussed our future estate and financial planning and options that might suit our own personal circumstances. David arranged for us to meet with his colleague Malcolm Robinson, who came with a number of options for us to explore. Following these discussions we now have an updated will, and have made some key decisions around our estate and future financial strategy. The support from the team in the office regarding paperwork, drafts etc is also excellent. My wife and I would definitely recommend Silvergate, and David and Malcolm in particular if you need to discuss wills, or your future estate and financial planning options.
