Abbey Veterinary Centres, Brecon

Great service nothing to much trouble, were very kind when I had my beautiful doberman put to sleep. Now I have to Jack Russell's that get spoilt rotten. Ann on reception is so lovely.

My darling Jack Russell Birthday today. Mimi is 18 years of age. She asked Mummy to thank everyone at the Brecon branch for their support over the years. This is celebrated with home made Victorian sponge cake. Enjoy! Abbey Vets! Thank you. Mitzi.

Unfortunately, on the last day of our vacation in Brecon, our dog had an injury to his paw. After a short phone call, the lady at the reception asked us to come straight over. The whole team was super friendly and helpful. The conversation with the doctor was super accurate and detailed, she asked many things about our dog Rookie to prepare for the treatment. She prescribed medication, gave us tips on further treatment and a medical report in case we needed to see another doctor. We are very happy that we found Abbey Veterinary Centres. Abbey Vets have looked after all our cats since we moved to Wales 3 years ago. We have used both the Brecon and Abergavenny surgeries and would not hesitate to recommend them. The standard of care is first rate and all staff - vets, nurses and admin - are excellent.

I have always found the staff at Abbey vets Brecon very helpful, especially Ann. I have known Ann for many years and she is always cheery, helpful. Ann provides information about any new services that the vets will provide. Ann is also very supportive when it comes to end of life of my pets. Ann is an excellent and very valuable member of staff.

One of my dogs was taken ill while on holiday. I rang and got an immediate appointment. Everyone was lovely and helpful.Even offered my husband who was outside in the car with our other 4 dogs a coffee ☕️Great service & dog is well.

Our experience at Abbey Vets in Brecon could not have been better. We were on holiday in the area when our dog needed relatively urgent attention (not emergency) from the minute we made contact to the moment we left, we were in amazing hands and that time was literally an hour, we were given an appointment within half an hour and seen quickly as well, all sorted in an hour from first contact. A big thank you to Sarah, Meaghan and Teegan for looking after us and Chester in his hour of need. Super efficient, very thorough and extremely professional but all that said, just very nice people :)
