Don't know if prices have gone up lately, (we expect so) we paid £12 for exactly 1 fish and chips and a curry sauce, it was massive, and served the 2 of us, with a few chips left, the fish was lovely and fresh.

Very disappointed. Drove from dulverton to order, the chips were barely cooked and tasted foul. The cheesy was completely stuck to the paper too.

First and foremost, they aren't chippy chips, ie, they are all similar shapes and thin and didn't taste good at all, haven't a clue what other reviewers are on about being nice , so can only presume frozen chips? Food was hot, as made to order, including the chips which seemed strange on a Friday at 7pm,, Nearly £4 for normal chicken nuggets, should be proper chicken breast bites imho for that.. ,sausage was fine, wife ate the nuggets, my fishcake was greasy and sadly not that nice, , Rated it a 2 on food but, its a friendly place, daughter liked the sausage, though it's just a sausage Tbf, , I went due to initial reviews I found and it was just off route whilst passing through tivy on way home to Plymouth , but wont be going back if passing through, sorry, chippy needs proper chips.

Having not been here for a while, we started getting chips from here because of a few problems with another chip shop around the corner (The Great British Takeaway). The food from here has improved compared to when I previously went here.Always friendly & great service.
