When I read the reviews from past guests of The Hoxley, I was a bit apprehensive. One of the best Thai outside of Thailand? Coming from Southeast Asia, my family and I were curious. How authentic could this be?We were pleasantly surprised with their authentic Thai flavours. The fried Cod in green curry was perfectly balanced. Not too spicy, nor too heavy with the coconut milk. The Tom Kha Gai was just as flavourful and you must drench your rice with the sweet/sour coconut broth. They took our request to make their Pad Khra Pao not spicy for my 9 year old daughter. Thank you!Lovely find out in St Leonard's of all places. kop khun krap!

Myself and my partner always drive past The Hoxley and always say how we’ll go but never quite make it. Anyway it was my birthday this week and we decided to go (we didn’t book we just turned up and hoped for the best) well thank god we did. THE. BEST. THAI. FOOD.We actually went to the Ivy Asia last weekend and both said hands down the food here was a million times better, tastier and the service was top notch, at 1/3 of the price.There was a guy looking after us and he couldn’t have been more hospitable, giving recommendations on the menu and just generally being really attentive and friendly.Our food was amazing and we will be back again and again.So pleased we found this little gem!

1st time I've been there after hearing great things. Wasn't disappointed food was delicious and service was great. They didn't rush us and were really friendly. Also a bit of confusion on the bill where we over paid and they realised this and came over to explain we had paid too much. Definitely be back lovely place with a lovely vibe.

Been here twice now, both times excellent food, very hospitable owner, nice atmostphere. The gins are a great touch.. had a lovely glass of red wine too, great music and decor - overall a brilliant find while on holiday

We’ve been twice in the last two months and the food has been excellent both times and the menu has varied. This was on a Saturday night. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service, quality food and value. I highly recommend The Hoxley St Leonards on sea.

An oasis in a desert of grim. Great little place, good food, great cider and the icing on the cake was the beautiful, friendly and simply charming woman that was running it the evening I was there. She made me feel comfortable and welcome. Only let down by the fact she had a partner, why am I always too late for the good things. Will definitely return.

Was a Thai restaurant, then a bar and back to being a Thai restaurant. Decent food from a limited menu - could do with more variety of dishes
