Ordered furniture online, Steve was so helpful, an item was damaged and a replacement was sought and delivered no problems, used other big companies such as Dwell, they could learn something from Steve about customer service. Will look here before anywhere else for anything I need in future. Delivery guys are great too. Thank you.

After purchasing a bespoke dinning table, chairs and bespoke bookcase for our study last year from Steve we returned again for a table and chairs for our kitchen. Which arrive on Monday and can’t wait. The quality and finish to the table and chairs is excellent. The bookcase was designed and handmade with a painted finish and wood shelving making a lovely contrast. Would highly recommend a visit and you won’t be disappointed.

Went into HOPO to compare furniture I’d seen on the internet with in store items. Was delighted when Steve was able to source the dining set, bookcase & tv stand I’d seen on-line at a competitive price. Better still he was able to alter the table to suit my needs for a reasonable extra cost. All delivered & set up by a great crew. I had to call Steve with a problem I was having with the bookcase shelving. Colin came as soon as it was convenient with me & sorted things. Brilliant. Thanks

Highly recommend! Steve @ Hopo is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and stocks a fabulous range of furniture.We purchased a beautiful Ottoman bed which looks and feels amazing. Such good quality and very reasonably priced. After purchasing the bed we were looking for a dressing table, stool & mirror so went to see Steve who didn't have any on display in store but showed me what he had online. Placed an order as we knew the quality would be excellent. The furniture has just been delivered and is beautiful - just what we were looking for!It's not just large pieces of furniture. Steve also sells lovely mirrors and lamps. Highly recommend popping in and having a look at the lovely items for sale.

Bought TV stand, but did not like it. Was happy to pay £50 return charge. The item was not delivered in a box. Steve trying to charge extra £35 for the item not being in box, when I didn't receive it.

Really disappointing service. We ordered a bespoke desk prior to lockdown, a price was agreed. This price rose a few weeks later but we continued. The desk took a long time to make but fully understandable due to lockdown, the finish product arrived many months later following a lot of chasing, desk was not per quote and design, after a few weeks the varnish is peeling and handles falling off as fixings not long enough. All points raised with Hopo but disappointing responses and service. Now have a very pricey desk that’s IKEA quality. I understand quotes change and designs may differ but the quality and service should still be provided considering the price.

Purchased a Manhatten dining table, plus 6 chairs and 2 bar stools after initially viewing on-line elsewhere. Decided to visit the store rather than buy on-line as they had the same table plus more on display. Everything was agreed with Steve. Items delivered within 10 days and table assembled by Steve and a Hopo colleague. Rubbish taken away too. Couldn't be more satisfied.Never used them before and given the size of the order, I maybe could have bought it for slightly less elsewhere; however I'm reassured by the fact that I'm supporting a local business, they themselves delivered (and assembled in my case) and said items are of a quality on par with the other brands in this price bracket.

I purchased a coffee table and 2 lamp tables from HOPO Furniture and cannot fault them. Not only were the items extremely well priced, but Steve was really helpful and replied to my emails very quickly. I placed my order via their website at lunchtime and, because I live locally, the tables were delivered to my door by tea time. Absolutely fantastic service. Thank you!

We bought an amazing table and chairs for a good price from Hopo. Great quality, awesome service and a super quick delivery (it is especially amazing due to the current severe delays in shipment in other furniture shops in Reading and in UK in general).
