Lawmans Stonework & Masonry

Sadly our Church suffered a break in in August last year and as part of the repairs we needed a stone mason to replace two centre mullions which had deteriorated beyond repair. Fortunately via the internet I found Lawmans Stonework and Masonry and following a call to Scott where I explained our needs we were able to set up a facetime call. With myself on site and Scott in his office, all the measurements and viewpoints were quickly sorted which meant we were able to have a quotation back for our insurers in double quick time. Once the full costs were approved and the works orders issued Scott wasted no time in procuring the stone and making the pieces. A short time later an installation date was arranged and the work completed in just one day and bearing in mind our church is nearly one thousand years old I think that is a testament to the skill of Lawmans . Scott Lawman has completed a load of essential and necessary repairs to the church stonework. All the work was delivered very professionally and every job was done exceptionally well. Where previous repairs had failed Scott made these very much better so we have no concerns with these occurring again. All new stonework is well inserted and is very compatible with adjacent material so doesn't stand out too much. Scott will be our first call when any more work is required.

Scott and his team restored and repaired our old crumbling and damaged portico entrance . The work was completed with professionalism and exceptional craftsmanship. Scott was available to us throughout the whole journey to advise and support . We would not hesitate to call upon this company again for any further work

Scott and Dean worked on my fireplace to get it ready for a log burner. They were professional, polite and very tidy. Nothing was a problem and excellent value for money. Definitely will use again on other projects.

The quality and precision of the work repairing my garden walls and garden steps is exceptional. Scott kept us up to date throughout the job what was being done and when they would be here because we have had a lot of rain! Everybody was polite and courteous. The mess was kept to a minimum and every thing was left pristine before they left.We have also used Scott to do intricate repairs on our portico columns and again the work was excellent.It has been a pleasure to meet somebody so passionate about his trade.

Scott has done some work for us before. I was recommended him by our neighbour who couldn’t praise him high enough. I share this high opinion. Scott came here on a Sunday( yesterday) to fix our damaged chimney. I can see quite clearly that he did a terrific job and I’m so grateful that he did it because our chimney was quite possibly going to collapse.He’s a great stonemason. If you need any kind of stonework done, you’d be lucky to have him do the required work. Excellent.

Scott and Mark have done a fantastic job, they are very professional, polite & honest. They are very skilled in what they do and my extension would not looks as good as it does if it wasn’t for them.They did all the block work, steel work and stone work on my large extension.I will definitely be issuing them again.
