Went to get a couple fish suppers and a friend of the shop assist decides to put her 5year old or so, on the counter. They continued to serve without moving the child who sat and took up the whole little counter space the whole time. Found this very odd and rude. They didn’t even call me to the counter to when they start making the supper as normally fish and chips shops put salt and sauce or what ever condiments on whist you stand at the counter after calling you over, but no, here they call you and just hand you over the bag. Oh and did I mention the child still on the counter with the mother stood far away and didn’t have the decency to move the child nor did the staff say anything! No wonder they couldn’t call me to the counter even if they wanted. Absolutely appalling service!Then got home to find out the did NOT put any sauce in the chips despite me having asked in advance. Called up and expressed my disappointment so they delivered the sauce, waste of time.Superbowl is just up the road with better service and better chips. Don’t waste you’re time here!

Waited 2 hours on delivery tonight and was told technical fault with frier lolMixed calzone had clumps of cheese,raw chicken,chips raw and fritters raw,sauces wrong.Dough on calzone moist and undercooked.Would not go back or recommend.

Just stick with fish and chips, very good and well done. We tried the chicken kebab and it was disgusting, just the meat on the cold pita with a side of unchopped lettuce, half onion and red cabbage. Deliver on time

The staff here was very friendly and patient with someone with a different accent and no local knowledge of their offerings. Based on the recommendation of a very local dish, I enjoyed the fried haggis and chips with brown dipping sauce. The shape reminded me of batter fried egg plant. The flavor and texture inside was closer to a lightly seasoned pork sausage. I think most people who grew up on traditional Southern USA food would enjoy this as well, which is not surprising due to a similar ancestry. I highly recommend this location for a taste of local foods, or if like me you needed something good and warm to eat after a visit to the hospital across the street. Please note there is a nice jogging path between those locations to help burn off the extra calories.

Been staying at the Children's Hospital and found this little gem! So far we've had pizzas which are gleaming. The chips are the best in Edinburgh I've had in 17 year living here. Also my wife and son have had the Pasta Bolognese which they say is very flavourful and a good portion size. Vast menu to get through, will try the fish at and update.

First time to have this Polish Food, very tasty at a reasonable price. My husband loved it also but since he had this before he compared the taste from Poland and here. Tasty but he said it could’ve been better , better cheese, good quality of mushroom. And since it’s my first time to try this food, I loved it, I loved the traditional one than with kebab.Haven’t tried their other food yet but so far I’m happy and satisfied.I would like to add that they add loads of onion as for toppings and unfortunately Some part of my chips were rly salty. But I do recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious homemade Polish comfort food dinners that you can get 4-7pm daily, but have to request as it's not on the main menu yet. They actually fry the meat right to order so it's as fresh as possible. I got chicken with potato pieces and beetroot salad and my husband got fish with potato gnocchi and also beetroot, all yummy.Also got a Polish kebab with chicken in their homemade bread but it didn't make it to the picture as it was devoured first, and it was massive, so I even shared it with hubby. So good!

I've just had my delivery, zapiekanki and pakora and both were so delicious, but zapiekanki was so delicious, fresh and fully loaded and crispy, I will hugely recommend this to all. Thanks Jolly Fry
