I would like to thank all at Doves Bromley for the work you all did to ensure Audrie's funeral went so well. From the moment we first walked into your premises my wife and I were put at ease. Although mum had selected a standard option and many things were extras we did not feel in any way that there was any attempt to upsell. The options were explained, the prices made clear and it was left to us to decide. We especially appreciated the way that mum's name was used throughout. I know that many people work behind the scenes so I cannot name them or thank them individually. The people who prepared mum for our viewing did a lovely job, she looked so peaceful and rested. The day before the funeral Grant Judges rang me to introduce himself and finalise a few points. I spoke to him about the possibility of some of the family acting as pall bearers. He was extremely supportive and explained we would be given instruction on the day. With his help and the rest of his team we managed the lifts into and out of the church and into the crematorium. Throughout the entire process he spoke of carrying Audrie, a wonderful touch. At the crematorium one of my original party could not be found, he took a wrong turn on the way. My daughter offered to help and, due to Grant's thorough professionalism, his reassurance she was up to the job was all the convincing I needed. I needn't have worried, she did a wonderful job. What an honour she felt to carry her nan to her rest. She was so impressed with Grant, she especially commented on his reverence. For my part it shone like a torch in the night. My entire family commented on it. From the work Rachel did discussing the options, helping us sort out the hymns and the order of service right through to saying goodbye to your team at the crematorium all of your people were a credit to your profession. Thanks to you all, a potentially sad occasion was the celebration of a life well lived I had hoped it would be.

Rachel at the Doves Bromley branch has been fantastic in leading the family through the whole process and ensuring that our Dad's funeral went exactly as we wanted and had planned for.Our family has used Doves for generations, and we've never been dis-appointed in the service we've received. They are a credit to their profession.

Doves in Bromley arranged the funeral for my mother. Rachel was efficient , friendly and patiently answered my numerous questions.The family also appreciated being able to view mum whose home is not in Bromley. Rachel worked with her colleague at Steven Mears in Lewisham to facilitate this.On the day of the funeral Nick and his team were friendly, patient and tactful in dealing with the long funeral, taking family members to the cemetery and then onto the celebration venue.It was a really hot day but the team remained friendly helpful and professional.Thank you all from the family

From the first meeting with Rachel speaking with Lorraine, the choice of celebrant and then on the actual day with Nick and his team everyone was professional, kind and compassionate. Doves funeral directors really care about and understands the families needs at what is essentially a really difficult period in there lives. They are always very kind, discreet and caring. The funeral arrangers have a wealth of experience and you know you are in safe hands with the funeral directors who are courteous and very professional .
