Would be great for younger children, lots of interactive stations for children to get playing and exploring. We visited as part of the science and ideas festival. I would recommend it for children up to about 8 or so.

Loved it.Took the kids on a Saturday family say and spent hours there. The inside science room is great fun for the kids with lots to do. The outside water play area kept the toddlers and child entertained for nearly 2 hours, we had to peel them off. A fantastic nature walk outside with a short one for buggies etc.Staff were all super friendly and stuck in.A really great day out!

Once was enough for us at £22. Would have loved it when the kids were toddlers. Just isn't well set up for 6+ with all the impatient younger kids. With the café closed it wasn't more than an hour visit had to get them to do everything twice to use up the 2hrs.

Kids really enjoy going here. There is an indoor centre and and outdoor woodland to explore. During the warmer months there is also a water 'lab' which allows families to enjoy experimenting with basic physics using water based play. Kids don't even realise they are learning about Science when they come - which makes it all the more fun.Indoors and water lab area are wheelchair accessible and there is an indoor and outdoor wheelchair accessible toilet with a changing space in the outdoor one.

Children aged 8 months, 8, 10 and 12 years old. We arrived at 10am and checked in. We received a map and activity tondo in the woods. We headed straight outdoors and the children were drawn to the water lab. They spent 1.5 hours there and even then I had to oull them away. The woodlands are not buggy friendly but we managed somehow. We has lunch on the covered benches outside as inside was very busy. The toilets were very clean and baby facilities were good too. A breastfeeding corner/space would make it amazing. The exploration zone was amazing for both adults and children. I wonder how long it would be until the children would say they are bored or finished as even after 2 hours the children were still exploring. They went round once quickly and then went a.few more times looking and understand ding in detail. The magnetic poles were one of my children's favourite but they said they needed to wait a long time to play with it.Overall, I was very happy with the day out. The kids fell asleep on the way home which is always a good sign.Staff were very friendly, especially Max. So nice to see passionate people working here.

Lots of fun and lovely little woodland walk too. The exploration room has about 15 things to do and explore and kept my two (4+7yrs) entertained for a couple of hours. There are 3 different routes to take for the woodland walk-we did all 3!

Kids had too much fun. Will visit again.Downside: take your own snacks as cafe is VERY overpriced. Paid over £5 for a cinnamon bun.Edit: as i can’t work out how to respond to the response for my comment:I paid £13.50 for 2 cinnamon buns and an iced coffee. The coffee was £3 something which makes the cinnamon buns £5 each. OR it seems i have been overcharged in error by the lady in the caffe :(. - I didn’t know the price of the buns in advance as they weren’t priced so i just paid whatever they told me to pay.
