Waterloo Housing.
Pity you don't allow 0 or- stars. They get 5* for incompetence and uselessness though. I had a 1 year check after 18 months in which they found some faults that needed doing, I'm still waiting for them to be resolved over 3 years later. I call to complain about things many times with the person on the other end saying I'll get your housing officer to call you later today". I've NEVER spoken to my housing officer. Top 5 worst companies I've ever dealt with."

Would never be housed with this company again and can't wait to leave them. Inadequate is an understatement. Treat their tenants like they're unimportant until it comes down to rent, yet the houses they put people in are more than unsatisfactory and a health risk. They're unresponsive to any communication when there's a problem, they'd rather just wait until you move out to fix the many problems with their properties. I've been emailing them now for over a year about the black mould in the property we are in where me and my partner who lives with bad asthma live and they tell us to buy expensive paint, leave our windows open through winter and don't offer any help with heating the property that they can't keep up with. The majority of the servicemen they send round seem to have no clue what they're doing and and I'm still fighting for some help, still no response... They tell you to report the issues with the property but it's honestly pointless because nothing will come from it. My boiler is currently atleast 20 years old and is broken, I haven't reported it because I know they won't replace it or fix it, it took them four months from the day we moved in to even get hot water in the property. No justice with this company all they care about is filling their properties and getting money. If I could give no stars then i would.

I moved in to my flat nearly a year ago my ceiling had a leak months before I moved in. I'm still waiting for it to be repaired iv not been able to get new furniture for my flat or decorate it either. Iv also noticed how my housings officer seems to like having coffee with certain neighbors and can't be bothered to deal with my complaint which iv needed doing for over a year. She is quick to hand out paper work for people who don't have better things to do with there lives except complain.

Waterloo housing associations are nothing but con merchants they lose Notice to Quit agreements then expect former tenant to still pay so-called rent on a property they no longer reside at . I would strongly say no matter how difficult your housing needs become DO NOT get a property with this association.as they will literally RIP YOU OFF !!!!

This company has left my elderly great aunt without heating & hot water for nearly 3 weeks , she is 89 & lives in one of there bungalows for the elderly. Absolutely disgusting.. she is told when she rings them .. “ you will have to be patient “!!!! She’s always paid her rent on time pity they can’t do anything on time!!!

Waterloo has changed over the last few years .... the quality and service is nowhere near as good ... We have had problems with our shower many times at one point a massive hole appeared behind the tiles and the tiles came off .. but in all honesty although one guy said they all needed to come off and a complete refurbishment was needed .... it never happened just a patch up job ... We have had many problems with the boiler ... we always told them no one is in the house until 3.00 pm due to work commintments ... they kept coming at 11 am 12 noon 2 pm and kept leaving cards ... the last straw was when the guy turned up while I was waiting watching him through the window he stayed in his car for 20 minutes never once buzzed or rang me .. he just left a card in the mailbox saying no one was home ... liar.This lead to Waterloo sending us letters threatening us to repossession if we didnt let them in ... why do they not listen to your fone calls.There have been a few new people arrive ... now we sometimes cant use the shower due the stink of Pot coming into there ..... and in the communial areas the smell is sometimes terrible. .. We have had the entrance door kicked in and damaged twice ... Trying to park in our car parking space is nigh on impossible due others parking where they want .... We call Waterloo and nothing is done... and in the block adjacent you can see them smoking in the communial areas before flicking the cigarette buts out of the windows ... unless you tell Waterloo you are going to inform other authorities all call the Radio or papers they do nothing .... Waterloo you are not fulfilling your duties ... I do also blame others that are totally inconsiderate and do as they wish. We have tried to speak with Chantelle see always says she will get back to us ... but December 2017 she has done nothing to get in touch with us ... sorry only to send us letters threatening us with repossession ... sorry if you dont like it Waterloo but thus is the truth

For over a year now i have been chasing a specific complaint, in regards to the company happily taking money but not providing stated services, within the tenancy agreement.Im not sure if it is the company, or the people employed, but they are sneaky, deceiving and couldnt really care less about the tenants or reside in their properties ,who pay £500 + a month including service charges aka grounds maintenance, that never get done.Just my row of houses alone, thats nearly £300 pm they are recieving, to cut grass" that apparently is and isnt apart of our communal area. Which one is it?Emails and phone calls do not get returned

Have been with waterloo housing for about 3 months now and its been worst 3 months of my life and i have had a rough life.... since moving in we have so many problems like the fact the flat was not cleaned before we moved in, mould in bathroom because the extractor fan just led to the loft with no piping, flat stunk if cigarette smoke when we moved in and all windows were locked so physically had to snap these lock to open the windows. On top of this everything going on in our flat could be heard through intercom outside. The intercom did not work and had no spyhole so while i was at wirk through day my girlfriend had to answer door blind. Now since the heavy rain has started we have had a major leak in living room ceiling and down wall which has ruined our talk talk tv box and a few pricelss posessions including photos and my only picture of a late friend. Absoloutely disgusted, has been 3 weeks since contacted about bathroom and 2 weeks since we have heard about leak... worst thing is my girlfriend is pregnant and i could possibly have a genetic breathing condition. We did have the repirs manager out who was useless... when i mentioned about security of flat and that door needs a spyhole he says why do u need one noone else in block has one ( 4 flats in block and we were only 1 with out a spyhole ) door is a state too, scratched and chunks out of it. The manger told me they would not reolace the door and said i would have to do that myself then proceeded to laugh at me and told me it would cost alot more than what i told the mrs... at this poi t i said it was pointless you coming out, then he left!! If i could post pics i would trust me! Its been problem after problem here, been here 3 months and already want to leave! The decorating we did when we moved in was a waste of time now the damp and leak has ruined it all. What do i do and who can i call? Should i refuse to pay rent til problems are sorted? Oh and before moving in to this flat i was homeless living between sofas and the back of a van ( van was cleaner than the flat ) someone please give advice!

Contacted Waterloo regarding a repair prior to Christmas as my bedroom window is falling out of the frame, but no come back as usual.Then received a letter saying that Waterloo housing were being taken over by platform housing from Jan 1st 2020,. I currently have prostate cancer and cannot use the bath I have to use the shower anyhow it keeps switching it's self off while I'm in the shower and the water obviously stops ive phoned numerous times eventually getting through after half hour being told basically your not a priority so will have to wait 21 days it's just not good enough I need the shower as a priority having recently had a catheter removed and need to be clean.The girl I spoke to on the phone was so rude and patronising they just don't care

Since my housing turned to Waterloo housing, repairs I have requested, which are priority, have not been done and this is a year on. I have had to pay my own money out for new front and back door locks/handles. The housing officer is unprofessional and talks down to me. She has written false transcript of conversations on The Waterloo data base about me.i have told tgem for The past 6 yrs that my name has changed and they never changed it. The neighbourhood has gone down hill rapidly. I filled an online form in to submit my tenancy notice and they advertised the property the nect working day without checking it was a genuine tenant that had sent the form in. One minute I am told I am up to date with my rent and then the next minute, I am behind ( just because they want you a month in front). Worst housing association I have ever experienced in my life. They call me at work and I tell them to please call after 16.30, they never phone back. Many more reasons I can put on here. This company needs investigating how they treat their tenants. I can't wait to move out.
