Bristol bicycle restorations

My 2017 Cervelo S5 had a dropout issue since manufacture (long story, not worth my while having the offered new frame as everything else would have to be changed). Essentially the dropout was so off it was bending my hanger so gears only stayed true for a few weeks. Joshua patiently built up the dropout over several weeks so that my gears now runs very smoothly. Thank you Josh.

The dropout of my Boardman TTE had separated from the stay. I thought the bike was finished. I phoned Joshua who said to bring it down. Long story short it was fixed and the repair was so well done you would never know. The frame was also polished and the repairs sprayed . Can’t thank him enough for what he did. Josh took in my ‘89 Rockhopper Comp for a respray and did a fantastic job. The finish is superb. Smooth and glossy.

Josh is simply first class. A true British craftsman and did an amazing job fixing the carbon on my Pinarello F5. How he matched the paint job was literally a work of art. I could not be happier or recommend him and Bristol Bike Restorations higher. Lovely guy and awesome at what he does !!

After dropping the chain on my Cervelo P3, it caused almost a full hole in the bottom bracket shell of the frame. I was in a bit of a panic when I contacted Josh at Bristol Bike Restoration as needed the bike back within about 4 weeks for an event. He responded very quickly on WhatsApp and he fitted me in that same week. He advised he would do his best to get it back to me in plenty of time for my event. It was ready at least a week sooner than he initially said so I cannot fault his service. In terms of quality, I also have no complaints. You can't even see that a repair has occurred on the frame, looks flawless from my untrained eye. In terms of price, this is the first carbon repair so I have no comparison. But what I can say, is that the price was more than fair for the quality of the job performed in my opinion.All in all, a 5 star experience for service and quality from Joshua, praying I don't have to use Bristol Bike Restoration again for a carbon repair but if I ever did would definitely go back.

Josh repaired my carbon mountain bike frame, on which the pivot for the rear suspension had come unbonded from the front triangle. All mended and fitted together well afterwards. 2 months of bike park / jumping and still working fine. Seems good as new. He gave me a years warranty on the repair too which was unexpected but greatfully received. Recommended
