We shop at two Booker stores, one in Acton, London and the other in Bridgend. So much better than rivals Bestway which we sometimes have to go to in an emergency ( nearer to us) But reason for reviewing is to say a big thank you to Megan at Bridgend for her customer service. What a pleasure doing business with her ( and Rhys the Manager) , she is a great asset to the Booker organisation and is helpful , charming, and very friendly and personable. I hope to see her in a management position soon if she isnt already !

Very helpful staff and a good range in stock. Note that Wales unit price rules apply to alcohol unless you are in the licenced trade, also restictions apply for tobaccoproducts.

I went there to check prices and stock. When I was leaving I was approached by a man from the staff who asked me to show him my rucksack contents. I gave him my rucksack. He looked inside and said ok". I started walking towards exit when the other man turned up. He asked me to show him my rucksack again as he wanted to check another pocket. After he checked it I was free to go. I don't know if they do this kind of checks on every customer. For myself it was a humiliating experience."

I've been coming here for many years. Always fully stocked for everything I buy. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The store is always clean. The entrance has gloves and wipes for the trolley. I love the reduction area in the fridge area and by the tills.

Not sure the other reviews are fair, I always find the staff friendly and helpful, especially Mark (guy with the beard and glasses), he seems to run the place even though he's not actually the manager.
