Hairy Poppins Hampshire: Dog Grooming and Day Care

Boots has been going to Hairy Poppins for 2 years now, and I would not go anywhere else. It is the perfect one stop shop offering best practice in doggy daycare and expert grooming.I am often stopped and asked where I had my dog groomed, I always tell them. Tracy and Sam are wonderful with the dogs, and I am able to drop Boots at the door literally as he cant get through it fast enough! He is a very happy pooch, and loves both Sam, Tracy and Sarah. A wonderful Professional Team with expert skills qualifications and knowledge but who genuinely really care for our fur babies.Would highly recommend Hairy Poppins to anyone with high standards and high expectations and who want a happy healthy dog.

My cockapoo Derby LOVES going to Tracey at Hairy Poppins and comes back a beautiful poppet himself! A great experience for your pooch and for you when your dog returns looking amazing!

My dog can get quite stressed when having nails clipped etc but was told he was as good as gold and came out very happy having had a full pamper wash, paws trimmed and nails cut.Very pleased and will use again.

Hairy Poppins (as well as having a great name) has been amazing with our rescue dog! He's a dog who loves cuddles and attention, but hates getting wet or being lifted, so baths are not his favourite thing! He always comes back looking super fluffy, smelling great, and most importantly very happy! Thanks Hairy Poppins!

I was very pleased with the grooming service I had from Hairy Poppins. Tracey did a fantastic job stripping my Border Terrier Molly. I will definitely be returning and Molly enjoyed herself too. Would recommend this grooming service and they also offer doggy day care. There’s parking available too.

Tracy is an excellent dog groomer. Her attention to detail is obvious and our King Charles Cavaliver Spaniel looks and feels wonderful after attending. Tracy is also a very kind person who has helped with advice and is also very interested in treating all dogs in a natural and holistic manner (eg her use of Reiki). I would highly recommend taking your dog to Hairy Poppins (great name too!).

I don't usually bother to leave reviews, but in this instance Tracey deserves a 5*+ for dealing with Stanley.Stanley can be a VERY difficult dog, but Tracey handles him perfectly. I drop off a grumpy overgrown mess and collect a perfectly coiffured happy pooch! Thank you.

Wow, where do I start about this amazing service.I used hairy Poppins for daycare while I was on holiday and couldn’t be happier.Sam took the time to give me a call and listen to my concerns (/ramblings) about my toy poodle. She came to meet him and take him for a walk before too.During his time at daycare I was sent photos and updates on his activity/behaviour and everything she described sounded like his normal behaviour when he is happy and relaxed.It was clear to me that Sam didn’t force him into any situations he didn’t want to be in and really cared about his well-being. He also got a walk included which is great.It’s really important for me to find someone who understands and listens to my dogs behaviour and Sam couldn’t have been more accommodating, as a result my dog absolutely loved her.My friend who was looking after him while I was away even commented on how impressive it was that he took to her so quickly, when normally he is extremely fearful of strangers. This says to me that Sam was really respectful to my dog.If you have a small nervous dog I would highly recommend this daycare. I will definitely be using Sam’s service again in the future.Thank you thank you thank you to hairy Poppins, I couldn’t be more grateful that I could relax on holiday knowing my dog was happy in your care.
