I had my bumpers plated back in 94/95 and they are still really good

A brilliant job by these guys. Front bumper off my Lotus Europa re-chromed and done in the quoted time at the quoted price. 2 small dents knocked out and now invisible. This is the second time I've used Howells. The first time I had front and rear bumpers on my Morris Cowley chromed about 10 years ago. The car is kept outside on the drive and the chrome is still perfect. I anticipate this job will last just as well. Thanks for a great job.

Have been using Howell for past 4 years. I have 10 classic bikes & 8 classic cars. Various parts re-chromed. Busy team there, but always great workmanship. Heading down there now to get some more done!

Friendly and helpful at all times: you get things explained by the people who actually do them. A busy place, so ask for an expected date of completion.They take orders and send delivery by post or courier or in person: they will seek your instructions if there is any doubt during processing.It’s best if you know exactly what you want, but they will tell what they can do at a quote, and what else could be done for extra cost.They are extensively used by classic car restorers especially for chrome work: I know they do copper plating and nickel plating too but for more information on their services it is best to phone Sales and ask.

Previously excellent workmanship, now eyewateringly expensive for several chrome defects and a cheap flaking blow over to the underside. Small parts lost and quality control non existent. Genuine review and the last time I use this firm. Five star reviewers easily pleased.

I chose this firm as they stated the did triple plating for chrome.I sent my parts early January, told they would be ready by the end of Febuary, received them 16.04.18.I spent March & April calling them 2 & 3 times a week to find out what was happening with my parts. They liar to me, didn't return calls when promising to do so. The customer was service, I'm lost for words.The quality of the work is shocking, flash chromed, its' dull, unbelievebly thin. I'll be very suprised if it last this summer, & they charged a lot for this terrible, terrible work.Do not go anywhere near this company, you'll regret doing so.You been advised.

After a lot of research I decided to use these guys for work on my rover p5b which included the rear bumper which is one piece and big. I live in south east Kent and a round trip of 425 miles twice. Could not recommend them highly enough. Great communication and afforded me as much time as I wanted to explain the processes. Attention to detail is brilliant.
