Wear Valley Crematorium | Dignity Crematoria Ltd | Wear Valley Crematorium is a modern, state-of-the-art building, which opened on 2 March 2009 and is set in eight acres of well-maintained grounds. We are located six miles from Junction 60 of the A1 on the A689 just outside Coundon Village, and are ideally placed to serve the communities of Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe and County Durham.

had to unfortunately visit here on 3 occasions in last 7 month but always found it efficiently and professionally run and managed which is a big bonus at a stressful time

Warm, friendly and extremely empathetic. Fantastic service nothing to much trouble. Gill was amazing and helped us choose the perfect memorial for my Mams grave. The grounds are stunning and very well looked after by the grounds men. Would highly recommend this crematorium.

What a beautiful and peaceful spot. The grounds are immaculately maintained and chapel lovely. Made a difficult day more bearable.

Today I visited the Gardens of remembrance to lay flowers for my brother it was such a beautiful well looked after place much thought and care has gone into looking after the grounds

Attened my nannas funeral on Wednesday 8th April 2020.The day was perfect and the service was beautiful!Thank you to all the staff at Gordon and Fletchers in Ferryhill, Wear Valley Crematorium and September flowers for making my nannas day perfect!
