Great park to visit with routes towards West Highland Way & Clyde Coastal Path nearby. Lovely old castle & really good visitor’s centre.

Mugdock Country Park
Very nice park and lots to explore! Great for a walk along with interesting ruins. It’s also very easy to get to from Glasgow with only a train to Milngavie. Would definitely recommend especially for a day out with families and friends.

Beautiful scenery, a decent walk to the castle ruins and Loch but worth the trek! Lovely little cafe and souvenir shop as well as a nursery on site.

Great for families, dog walkers and folk who just want to have a nice long walk. Beautiful Loch and visitor centre. The castle ruins are well worth a visit too ! Just a short drive north of Glasgow so very accessible:)

Beautiful country park with several walks and castles. It is lovely to visit the ruins of Mugdock Castle. Not my fav in Glasgow surroundings but worth the visit.

Lovely walk at Mugdock today. Great soup from Stables cafe. Loads of families and dogs enjoying the outdoors on a lovely autumn day

Mugdock Country Park
Expansive estate/park on the outskirts of Glasgow. Great for families/kids and dog walkers. Well kept paths through the park. Car park can get busy and some folk park on the road running alongside. Had a nice cafe and well kept clean toilet facilities. Also a Garden centre in the grounds.

Mugdock Country Park
My first time visiting - parked near caulders. Got a coffee from the wee coffee shop (and a brownie) enjoyed a lovely walk around Mugdock with our dog who enjoyed it too. There are public toilets in the courtyard as well as some shops (food and souvenir)Dog walkers - there are plenty of paths and poo bins. We met some horses on our walk so be aware of that.A bit of a journey to get there along a single track road but worth it. Will be back again.

Mugdock Country Park
Lovely park / area to walk around, especially with the dogs. Lots of different walks and well marked trails. Noticed a lot of dogs off lead which can lead to issues, especially with irresponsible owners.Restroom facilities could do with being refreshed, but overall it's a great escape just outside the city. Would also recommend the reservoir walk, followed by a trip to Vivi & Co for a bite to eat (dog friendly).
