We enjoyed our stay at this spa hotel! The room was wonderful. The restaurants served lovely food. The spa was great after a day of hiking! I did remove one star simply because the room door did not lock and just when we thought it was locked, you only had to turn it hard 3 times to get it to unlock once again. Our spa treatment was also canceled on us 2 hours prior to because a therapist had walked out. So that was a bummer, but we were able to adjust and get the treatment the next morning on the day we were leaving instead. My foot did need a day off hiking anyway.

Our visit to the spa was better than expected. The hydro pool is heated with lots of room. The thermal journey was great and varied. We had a mud treatment that was very relaxing. The food in the Japanese restaurant is very tasty , highly recommended all around. The lake view is a lovely touch .

Absolutely outstanding service and so very friendly and helpful. The hotel is superb and the views are amazing. Called in for a bite to eat and a drink and sat in the beautiful gardens with our dogs (dogs are welcome inside too.The food was lovely, so well presented and very tasty. Even the dogs were bought their own sausages and a drink. Looking forward to going again XX

I stayed here two weeks ago with my husband and dog. Our room was small for the cost per night and felt it was expensive for what it was. The hotel is dog friendly but you can only eat/ drink in one section of the hotel, which is nicely decorated but can get boring after a few days dining in the same spot. The bar looks casual so not sure why it’s not dog friendly also. We had two breakfasts, one dinner from the lake view restaurant and a lunch at this hotel during our stay and every single meal was like warm/ cold, never hot. Our lamb from the lake view restaurant was overdone, not what we expected from a £30 main course. Spa was fully booked so couldn’t get a slot to use the facilities, bit disappointing given it’s a spa hotel and the residents can’t use the spa. On checking out, one lady had complained about this also the staff magically over rode the system to get her into the spa, disappointing not everyone is treated the same. Hotel tired in some areas, but an awful hotel but certainly have stayed in much better for the money, and had far better meals. I wouldn’t return personally.

Really lovely overnight stay and Spa, my only complaint is that robe sizing is terrible - my tall and broad other half was stuffed in what felt like a womens size 10 dressing gown, could really do with larger sizes to be inclusive. Otherwise beautiful, clean, and luxurious - spa at sunset really was glorious! The views are breathtaking

Spa - 5 Stars!Lodore Falls' spa is delightful and modern, given its recent establishment. While compact, it offers a comfortable experience. Be aware that the changing rooms get busy around its 8:00 PM closing time. Overall, it's a stellar 5/5 experience.Hotel - 1 StarThe Lodore Falls Hotel was disappointing in contrast to its spa. We opted for the more affordable rooms, which, in hindsight, weren't worth it. Our room on the third floor was uncomfortably hot, leading to a sleepless night. While other hotels have relocated us in similar situations, here we were told it was fully booked. Yet, a later online check showed many available rooms. The offered solution, a malfunctioning fan, did little to help. The unhelpful staff further dampened our experience. Feel free to contact me for details; I stayed on 24th August.

Me and my friend stayed a couple of nights at this amazing hotel and we can't understand why its not 5 stars for it definitely delivers in every way as a 5 star hotel. Straight away our room was upgraded, the staff were amazing very helpful very friendly such a warm comfy welcoming environment, the views are stunning they will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and it is one of the places that I highly recommend and I know for a fact that I would love to come back again and again .The breakfast had amazing variety buffet available as well as the hot menu breakfast. On-site hotel that was just one-of-a-kind and the spa just completely top's the experience .And the views are just breath taking.Highly recommend for families and friends.By far one of the best stays we’ve had so far in the lakes!

We had the most wonderful stay this weekend....our room 144 was perfect, the evening meal at The hotel restaurant was exquisite with food to die for. All the waiters & staff were fantastic. The food was elegantly presented and tasted so lovely that we didn't want it to end.We had 2 beautiful winding down hours in the spa on the Sunday morning which was totally wonderful, with such amazing views of Autumn trees, mountains, and the lake. This is definitely a hotel we would visit again. Thank you...

Lovely place. Stayed here 1 night in a standard room. We had an 2 hour evening spa package. The spa was great. Not the biggest but the facilities were top notch and compared to other places they don't let many people in so it felt nice and intimate. The only downside is the robes at the spa are on the small and tight side. The views are amazing. We ate at the mizu restaurant which was really nice. The hotel gave me a birthday card and complimentary glass of prosecco which was a nice surprise.Staff were great. Breakfast was very nice.It is also dog friendly and a nice relaxing atmosphere. The waterfall is just behind the hotel but cannot be accessed from the hotel site.Nice, big secure car park across the road and the reception will give you a code for the automatic barrier so you can leave.
