Heron foods will become more popular over the next few months, because of rising energy costs. It's quite limited in what they offer, but what they do offer is cheap and good quality. If you want a really good deal go for the xsell products, they can be really good value, especially the pizzas, last time they had them 75p each for pepperoni a real bargain plus 750g of fish fingers for £1.25. 400g diced beef £3.00 three for £8.00. Like I said not the biggest selection, but enough to support your weekly shopping.

Was a good place to shop but recently a less desirable shopping experienceI'd reported that this was at that time a pleasant and inexpensive place to shop at, well yes the inexpensive side still is true. But now after months of having big baskets in the isles right next to freezers its almost impossible to get a mobility scooter in between baskets to find and retrieve what we are getting or wanting to get. Ive mentioned this several times but no one's interested, do they not think us disabled deserve better customer experience? Its so annoying, but im beginning to stand against this kind of bullying from convenience shops that feel they can treat us disabled as second rate customers, im entitled to want to shop in a independent way as possible but they dont seem to care. Im now considering to take it to retail ombudsman and the disability courts to ascertain how much this breaks the disability laws that were brought in , in 2007Not very good at all seeing they dont reply to reviews on here about misleading packaging and all as well as this now

I like heron foods, it's cheap and cheerful, the staff are friendly apart from one very load and annoying cleaning woman. The prices are very cheap for good quality products, often selling end of line or new shop trial products at a fraction of the usual RRP.

I went into this shop wondering if they had any good deals, to my surprise they have an amazing amount of low-price items, including the 'Broken Biscuits' boxes, and it was a great visit.There was no queue which made it a very quick shop, 10/10.

Great value for what you get. I'd also say I went in there with 1 teenager and 2 babies and there was a guy acting really strange towards us and wouldn't leave us alone. The cashier noticed this and tried to keep us safe until my partner arrived. I really can not thank her enough. She went above and beyond for us. Total amazing survice
