The guys in the yard are great and are always willing too help. But the attitude of the guy behind the desk is disgusting ! Will not be returning as there are much better other options near by.

Yard staff so rude and miserableRange is good, but dear me the yard staff are a bunch miserable rude people. Often usually refuse to give any advice at all if your not a regular and very patronising. Will refuse to give you any help carrying wood and will expect you to load your vehicle and make up any excuse so they can avoid doing work and moan about their job. They are not even that cheap either. Yard staff listen to this review if you don't like your job go find another and don't ruin your employers reputation. Other howarth branches have better yard staff then the bury depot.

First time used Howarth excellent experience from start to finish - special thank you to Mick who delivered my order from Bury - was going to hand ball 2 tonne of stone off my drive to my back garden - Mick very kindly dropped around the back saving time and my back 5* service - thanks Mick - to the passenger in the White VW Golf take yourself from your very sad and selfish life and try and understand that this lad was trying to do his job so you having to move your car 20ft is not the end of the world - cheers guys from Bury great service!

Just called for timber at 4pm, closed at 5 but waggon left in the way so wood not available ( JOKE) offered to move it for them. On way to Elsworths in Bolton. Cheaper and no waggon in the way
