My family and I have been going to Fisheye for almost two decades. Hillel and his team are very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us with sunglasses, prescription lenses and contact lenses. They listen to your concerns and are very patient, reliable and attentive to details. A very highly recommended Islington gem.

I echo all of the positive reviews here. After decades of issues with high street opticians chains, the Fisheye team were a revelation. They took incredible care to ensure my prescription and new glasses were spot on. It was incredibly refreshing not to be passed around from one shop floor kid to the next, like you do elsewhere. These people take their profession seriously, treating eye care seriously, not just seeing it as the next opportunity to enjoy commission. Go independent. Go Fisheye Opticians.

Went in for a eye check-up. Hillel was very detailed, patient and he carefully explained everything. They have the most modern equipment and caring staff. Highly recommend

This opticians is wonderful. Hillel is very excellent, thorough, reassuring, helpful, very good at what he does. Each examination, real care is taken to assess all aspects of your personal eye health, the facilities are top notch. Would recommend to all friends, family, everyone. I had a fantastic experience with them. The whole team are great.

First Class in every respect. Delightful staff who are thorough and experts in their field. Having had a poor experience at another popular firm (I should NOT have gone to!), I have come away from Fisheye with the most comprehensive and unrushed eye examination I have ever had, and the correct prescription lenses arrived the next morning! In just one day, my headache has gone. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you.

Extreme care and super detailed eyes check, possibly the most complete and serious one I've ever had in London. I had my computer glasses through my employer so the choice was limited, but I could see a great range of glasses I could have chosen outside of my eye care plan. They've just relocated to a new location in Islington Square which is great, I strongly recommend going there as you truly feel looked after. 5 out of 5 stars without any doubt!

I highly recommend Fisheye Opticians. Hillel is from the old school and extremely thorough, not only did he find that I had cataracts in both ryes but arranged for my operations at Morefields Eye Hospital. He has very modern equipment that I haven't seen anywhere else. He explains what each one does and what he's looking for. It was a lucky day for me when I discovered himI had already been to several other opticians in Islington, none of them tested me for cataract nor glaucoma. All of them used the same machine that is not fit for purpose. It depends on how alert you feel that day. Each machine gave a different result. My impression was that they were only interested in selling you glasses and not on the health of your eyes.Don't risk your eyes on the other opticians, go to Fisheye.

Best eye exam I’ve ever received. I was switching to contact lenses for the first time and Fisheye’s opticians were extremely thorough in ensuring this would work for me, including two follow ups after trials.
