Ed did a great job for us refurbishing our huge Georgian sash window recently with new sash cords, pulleys, weights and draft proofing. Ed at Holkham sash windows did a fantastic job at a holiday rental property for me in Weybourne.He visited our property on a couple of occassion to assess the work required before we agreed the timescales involved.He is very knowledgeable and provided excellent detailed advice and suggestions about how the job should be tackled. In total the job consisted of the refurbishment of 2 sash windows and 4 casement windows, this included upgrading the glazing to include double glazed units into beautiful wooden frames.Following initial investigation work the windows needed more remedial work than had initially been anticipatied but Ed constantly kept me up to date with the progress and all of the conservation work was carried out methodically and precisely.His attention to detail was incredibly reassuring and the end result is that we have windows that look as they would when they were orginally installed but they are likely to endure for many years to come.

Ed has repaired, re-furbished, draught-proofed and re-painted 4 pairs of upstairs sash windows on our listed property. This has been done diligently, skillfully, to a very high standard with great attention to detail and in keeping with the original property.Various challenges were uncovered on the way, such as more extensive rot and ill-fitting original glass, but these were remedied after agreeing the necessary additional work.Whilst it took a bit longer than originally expected, Ed's perseverance has paid off - super job!

Holkham Sash Windows renovated our two very large early Victorian front sash windows and a smaller bedroom sash in February this year. Their work is excellent and included draughtproofing, painting and repairing the windows. All three now run beautifully and look stunning. The windows are more secure and better soundproofed. We are planning on having our remaining windows renovated by Holkham Sash Windows later this year.

He was really honest about what was required - an adjustment rather than the big job I had thought - he could have charged me and I wouldn’t have been any the wiser. Ed is super professional and perfectionist in what he does. He has undertaken sash windows renovation in our Victorian property in Mileham.
