Wharf Road Car Park

Wharf Road car park is a great spot for parking in the city. The location is convenient and the spaces are well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a great option for parking in the area.

Always plenty of disabled parking spaces. Free for Blue badge holders which is excellent. I wish more were the same.

Good location car park does not have the pay by phone feature and contactless doesn’t work either, so you can either pay by card or cash.

Close to the castle,nice view of the wharf,but a tight squeeze.

Awful - all parking is cash only, all machines allow for card/ contactless but are permanently off!Also the paybyphone site does not allow registration so you can't use telephone or app parking (currently).Other than drug dealers and scaffolders, who carries cash these days? Disappointing

A great, convenient place to park in the centre of Stamford. Not too expensive and free on a Sunday! Can get crowded on a Saturday.

Large car park close to town centre, reasonable charges; just under £4 up to 4 hours, £4.20 all day.

We love this car park plenty of space not at all cramped if you have a large car not far from the shops. Good ticket machines. The only thing it lacks are some toilets?

Yesterday I parked in the car park on Wharf Road, Stamford. The nearest parking machine was next to the exit. I tried numerous times to get a ticket, but it wouldn't allow me to pay by card. Cash payments had been accepted previously. Unfortunately I had no cash. The queue was getting longer and a workman advised we used to machine near the entrance as he'd not been able to pay by card. A couple of other people in front of me even had problems with this machine although it worked relatively easy for me. But, looking on my bank this morning, it has taken 2 payments. What a mess! Took me over 20 minutes to get a ticket. And to cap it all, on my return, someone had scraped my car!!
