Expected better service. The food was nice, but not amazing. A bit overpriced to be honest. The kids menu also gave the impression that dessert was included in the price, which it turned out it wasn't. A general air of dissatisfaction afterwards was apparent.

I have to say the burger was wonderful . But the alternative to chips was extra salad or coleslaw, neither of which arrived. I have enclosed a picture of the coleslaw that was included . Not even half a tiny pot. I would have preferred to see the waiting staff dressed more professionally

Partner and I went here for Dinner whilst we were on holiday. Staff were very pleasant upon entering and even offered to swap us to a table with a Window view of the pier since they had one free! The servers were very polite and friendly, but service was a little slow, though I don't think it's through fault of their own as it seemed there were only 3 of them covering the entire restaurant that evening.I had the Sea Bass, which I must say was really disappointing. The fish, and most of the accompanying veg, was very bland - and certainly not worth the £22.50 I paid for it. That being said, the small potato on the plate was actually cooked really well, and the Pea Puree was fairly average.My partner had a vegan burger, and they said that this was good overall. However, there was (again) a lack of flavour that was attempted to be covered up through spice. Although, we both agreed that the chips were actually excellent!I'd say that the food felt very much like pub grub with a hat on...a rather expensive hat if you ask me...and I would have been happier paying less. That being said, the drinks were more reasonably priced. The atmosphere of the establishment wasn't bad (the venue could maybe do with a bit of a spruce up?), and as I said earlier, Staff were nice and brought experience up. Just could have had nicer food for the price, or charged less for the food we were given.

Middle range menu well priced in excellent location overlooking the sea. Effort is made to dress up the food which is nice, servers were friendly and got everything right. We were there with no booking, off-peak time 4pm and sat in one of the three windows. Place is clean & modern, not swanky or sumptuous, our food was well prepared and good value, outlook to the sea is a winner for a seaside day trip on a grey day in September.

We had not booked anywhere for an evening meal and after visiting several restaurants in the town we were struggling to find somewhere that had tables available, we stumbled on Lily Mais and so glad we did, the friendly staff greeted us and showed us to a table (some tables have great views of the sea and pier)We were served promptly, and the service was excellent.We ordered sea food platter, steak and ribs and Lilys classic burger and we all enjoyed it!.Reasonably priced for a good standard restaurant, would recommend it.

Had a good meal here , staff were attentive and it had a nice airy feel to the place . we had couple of starters and main courses which were well presented and quite tasty, we ate in the bar area were dogs were allowed which is good. menu was varied and a good selection of drinks to suit all

Excellent customer service especially when I was supporting a disabled guy on his holiday in Cromer Awesome atmosphere. Paid my compliments to the chef. The lasagna was banging.

Food, service and atmosphere are excellent! The portions are decently sized and tasty, without being too overwhelming. The cocktails are also very good, and the view is excellent! It can get quite crowded at times, so if you're planning to visit on a busy day, it's probably best to book ahead.
