Enjoyed the whole experience, J was a great tonic, such a gent and a funny guy, very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Only downside the lift was out of order, being disabled was not an issue as the staff helped with me luggage. 5*

The location of the hotel is prime if you are coming from Liverpool lime street railway Station. One thing which must not be missed mentioning is the staff. They are just lovely, very caring and hospitable.I traveled this week with my 6month old daughter and they made the stay so comforting. The building is a little old, given that the hotel was build in 1900 we can expect that much. The rooms are ok size.Overall I recommend the hotel for its location and wonderful staff.

Had a one night stay whilst in liverpool for the gin festival. Arrived to hotel greatest warmly by guy on reception told us about the breakfast time(extra bonus as we didn't know it was complimentary continental) asked about luggage store for day after we were only on a late trainhe said yeah that's fine. Walked in room lovely and warm soo warm we had turn heater off. Yes there were a few cracks in wall corners but it's an old hotel building didn't mean we had a bad sleep to be fair didn't hear a thing we were in room 229 furtherst away from front of building. Shower was small but powerful.Breakfast was simple and tasty. Put suitcase in small luggage store and collected later on that evening. All staff polite and friendly would stay here again ideal location right next to Lime Street Station.

I got a clean, spacious and comfortable single room with just £26 per night. Did not expect to have such a large tv screen in the room! Location is perfect especially if you have an early/late train to catch + the staff members are super friendly. They also provide complimentary breakfast and I left with satisfaction every morning.Mattress may be a bit hard for some people but I prefer hard ones, so not a problem for me. Wifi sometimes unstable.

Very disappointing. Rooms were dirty, bathroom had lots of black mould. Room had a constant sour smell. Elevator out of order.Location is good though. Probably the only positive. Close to the station, library, museum. Short walk to the bars and restaurants. Was going to say the staff were good as they were mostly friendly but had a poor experience upon checkout: we asked to store our bags for a few hours and were met with eye-rolls and huffs, as if our request was a ridiculous inconvenience.Breakfast was included, it’s alright; just toast, fruit, cereal.

No frills hotel conveniently located behind Lime Street station. Rooms are functional and beds are comfy.Tea and coffee making facilities available in all rooms.Complimentary continental breakfast provided by hotel is particularly welcome. The staff are always unfailingly friendly and helpful.

First impressions were very poor, the hotel looks a state from the outside. However, it was in a great location near the centre with a car park on the same street. We checked in about 7pm and the downstairs area was all taped off which was odd. Staff were fairly friendly. The card machine was broken but we were able to pay online. The WiFi was okay, not brilliant but not terrible. The room was again okay, the main issue was the plumbing had a macerator unit, normally these aren't an issue, but the toilet cistern was leaking causing the macerator unit to come on every 20 minutes or so, I ended up removing the fuse to get some sleep! A very cheap and cheerful hotel, I'd recommend spending the extra to go elsewhere but if price is the main concern its not too bad!
