The staff at Stockport are fantastic. In particular Emma. I’ve lost count of how many times she’s given me priceless advice about which products to use. Her knowledge is incredible. Also her patience is a rare talent . I’m always pleased to see her when I visit the store knowing I’ll come away better informed and purchase all the right products for the job in hand !Once again I’d like to give a thumbs up for Emma. Love Alan Howards they are always very helpful. Especially Dale from the furniture warehouse department. When I first opened my salon Dale went above and beyond to help me with all my furniture needs and still 3 years later and another shop fit he has been fantastic. Couldnt recommend this place enough. All the Ladies on the shop floor are lovely and the education team are top class.

Awful customer service when ever I come into the shop.Been coming for my entire hairdressing career 20+ years but the past few years the in store staff have been rude and Unprofessional, even slagging off a customer that was in front of me and had just left to me. So god knows what they say about me when I leave.They do not uphold statutory rights on faulty goods. So be warned if your item is faulty that’s a you problem.

Amazing new store.! Normally go elsewhere but thought I would go and visit during their opening week. So large and bright with a huge selection of hair and beauty products. Staff were so friendly and helpful plus it was VAT free all week, which was a bonus.! To cap it all I received a fantastic welcome bag... Will be visiting again and would certainly recommend...

Wonderful, clean and bright store. We found everything we needed and Lisa our sales rep was absolutely fabulous. Dale was a star helping with the bulky items. I would definitely recommend this store for your hair and beauty supplies.

After 38 years of trading with Alan Howard . I wont be again . Spent over £100 on clippers that did t work from the day i bought them .Totally unhelpful !Alan Howards loss as i spent 10 times that amount each month . But get feeling staff could t care less as its become more and more corporate !
