Excellent 2 night stay here to meet up with a friendEverything was excellent.Just a couple of things we were not happy with but spoke to reception and they took our issues on board.Beautiful location. Bedroom was massive and beautiful. Lots of plug sockets and USB ports.Bathroom absolutely divine.Room was extremely hot despite heating being off but do not know if other rooms have this issue.Great place to head out on day trips and shopping trips.Will go back again

Visited for a special reunion event for an old employer. A lovely hotel with flawless service during my visit, I had a spotless room and the food served during our meal was delicious.The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing. I think perhaps they were expecting more of us to role in for breakfast much earlier. The 2nd round of breakfast containers looked like they'd been under the hot lamps for quite a while. Thankfully I squeaked in before they were open and what I had was very tasty.

I had a wonderful experience at Old Thorns Hotel and Resort Spa! I was lucky to visit as a guest through a promotional offer, and it exceeded my expectations. The spa facilities were lush, with a sauna, steam room, foot spa, and two hot tubs! The pool was really nice and the availability of body wash and shampoo in the showers made the experience even more convenient. I was pleased to find real hair dryers available, and the communal changing area, along with the private changing rooms. My visit was truly enjoyable, and I hope to return for another relaxing getaway!

During our 2-night getaway with a round of golf, we found that this hotel, despite its wide range of facilities, lacked attention to detail. For instance, we purchased their one-night wonder" deal

We had my Daughters wedding here on Saturday 23rd September 2023 in the Gatsby suit. I think it’s true you pay for what you get. You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. It all started with the team Jade setting out the wedding and giving us multiple choices for what we wanted. All of there hard work paid off from the taste testing to the tour and updates. A completely professional set up. When we arrived the day before the wedding and went to our rooms you new then it was going to be a success. We had 3 rooms one apartment and two family rooms they were massive. We had the apartment so all the bridesmaids and bride could get ready on the day of the wedding the room was perfect we had around 20 people in there with photographers. We had some last minute changes and the team just made it work. They do make you feel special. They have a chapel or if the weather is good you can get married outside. We went from the chapel to the champagne bar for drinks and canapés they were excellent after photos we went to the Gatsby suit it was stunning. We were looked after all day by Chloe who’s was outstanding nothing was too much. Everything went to plan the food was excellent. The evening disco and food was fantastic even though we never ate it all. Overall an fantastic venue with outstanding staff highly recommend not cheap but worth every penny.

My recent interactions with staff and management where very disappointing, I would definitely not recommend staying here. From the response that was given by various staff members and managers, I sadly feel that customer satisfaction is bottom of their ethos. I will not be wasting my money on a business who do not value their customers.

We were here for a Xmas Narnia themed 3 course meal, live music and disco. The room was absolutely stunning! The catering set up was seemless. V impressed. Food was good. There must've been 500 people in the ballroom- you'd never of known it, wasn't cramped. The band were out of this world, so good. Definitely booking a table next year for the company Xmas party!

Had a really lovely stay for my wife's birthday, fully recommend the special including wine, chocolates and the bed dressed up for our special occasion. The food was good and a large selection for breakfast. Definitely staying there again, might even have a round of golf if the boss let's me.
