Called for breakfast, group of 5, food was good quality, (not cheap supermarket stuff) but just average presentation and not cooked that well, £10.95 full English, Sorry to say it but Spoons is a better breakfast

Lovely location. Dismal food. Kids pasta originally came out without the advertised garlic bread, so we requested it and received a slice of white toast with crushed garlic spread on it. Hilarious, but inedible. Burgers were well advertised but poorly executed with minimal contents and stale buns. Can’t comment on accommodation as we just had diner mid week

Restaurant and hotel is located in a quiet lane. Nice ambience. Service was very much like what other had reviewed. When we noticed customers after us getting their food first, we alerted the waitress. She assured us food will be served soon. Total wait time for our food was abt 50min. We were pleasantly surprised when they offered us a complimentary glass of white wine, which we had ordered. They politely acknowledged their fault and slow service.

The Masons Arms
We often eat breakfast at The Masons. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is great. We generally opt for the breakfast Mason Muffin, this is currently served on a small plate which makes it very difficult to deal with. This is a small personal preference though, and doesn't detract from a great visit. We haven't stayed at the Hotel as we live in the area.

Great hotel, nice relaxed vibe. Nice to see young local staff confident and genuinely friendly. Rooms and corridors very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Family of four, walked in to sit In and eat and was told fully booked at 13:00 on a Thursday. Made us feel completely unwelcome and felt like they looked down on us even though we had a plenty of cash to spend. Don't bother with this place if you can

The friendliness of the staff definitely made this visit!The rooms were spacious and modern. What let it down for me, however, was the lack of a desk (as was staying on business). I ended up working, sat on my bed.It's disappointing that they don't provide an evening meal (food stops at 5pm), or a drink (as bar closes at 6pm).Breakfast service doesn't start until 8pm, which as is too late in my opinion. It meant I was more rushed" than I would have liked

We've never stayed the night being local, however have visited numerous times for a wonderful cooked breakfast. Everything tastes fresh, and I'm to believe it's all locally sourced. The food is really tasty

Dispointing in the breakfast I ordered I like a well done egg cam runny they changed it thank you but bought me a new breakfast all cold nice place would not go again not worth the money
