Twinformation

I found the lovely Joanna after researching and trying to find a twin only antenatal. As there's lots of antenatal class but it all seems to be more suited for single births. When speaking to Joanna she put my mind at ease as I was only 9 weeks pregnant and I had soo many questions regarding twins lol. I am writing this and I am 34 Weeks pregnant. My husband and I started twin formation around 21 weeks via zoom due to lockdown. It was prob one of the best classes we have done as Joanna takes her time going through EVERYTHING twin related from being pregnant, what to expect, different birth options, being at the hospital, if twins are premature and once they are born. Feeding schedule, breastfeeding and sleeping positions for the twins. Joanna doesn't over load you with info, it's all broken down and you can as many questions as you like. Then discussed in more detail. We really connected and it never felt like a school session. We all giggled alot too. Wait till you get to perineal message lol. Even before starting the twin formation course Joanna was always avaliable via phone or email to calm me down when I would get nervous about certain aspects of my twin pregnancy or to answer any queries from after seeing my midwifes and didn't fully understand what they meant in doctor lingo! To anyone who really wants to learn the real facts about twin pregnancy (and its not scary at all) I would highly recommended Joanna's Twinformation Antenatal Class. You will not be disappointed and will learn so much in a relaxed environment!She has fantastic knowledge and is fully qualified as a midwife, hypnotherapist, works with twin trust and antenatal educator!Thank you Joanna for being amazing, kind & so understanding and we feel so lucky to have found you to help guide us through our twin pregnancy journey and beyond! We did a 1 to 1 online course with Jo to prepare for the arrival of our identical twins and it couldn’t have been more useful. Jo tailored it to exactly what we needed especially as we already have two older kids so a lot of it was about figuring how things are different with twins. We were able to talk through really clearly what the current evidence and research is so that all of our decisions and choices were informed. Jo is in a great position to guide people through that as she is connected with both our local trust policy and her work with the Twins Trust. Jo really listens and sees how individual each and every situation is which we really appreciated. Highly recommend

Joanna has provided me with so much support since my twins were born 5 years ago. Being a twin mum herself and a very experienced midwife she has such a wealth of knowledge. She is kind, compassionate and understanding with no question too small or too silly. Her antenatal classes were an absolute godsend and gave us the opportunity to meet other twin parents which we still see regularly 5 years later. I cannot recommend Joanna enough.
