Fantastic little store.I had an issue with my road bike after it was repaired but High Tide Cycles sorted it out straight away and communication was great.I'd suggest the best measure of a business is not when it's all going right, but when something goes wrong. In this, HTC more than measured up.Very happy to be a (occasional) returning customer. Even happier that's it's just round the corner from my flat.

The owner can bite, get over that and you have found yourself an old school bicycle repair shop. The owner will find a way to repair your bike, even if it means adapting used parts to get a good job done. This type of shop is extremely hard to find.

I got a puncture as i was riding along the seafront.By off chance took the bike into the High Tides bike shop and they fitted a new inner tube there and then.The guy said my front brake pads needed replacing and did them as well .Great service you cant get better than that ,the best cycle repair shop in East Sussex a well deserved 5stars.MANY THANKS.

I walked into High Tide Cycles wheeling my 1970’s Moulton Deluxe with a rear puncture. My first visit. Neat rows of new and pre-loved bikes. Andy listened as I explained it had been converted from a three gear to a four - “not seamlessly”.“I can do it while you wait?”This is not my usual experience. So I stood and watched. Wheel off, new tube (not everyone keeps that size). Back on the clamped frame, he went through the gears - sweet little adjustments to get the most out of the old hub.I popped out to Liban Coast for some baklavas. “When did you last use it?” “Three months” I lied badly.“It could do with being used.”£19.It had been 15 mins tops. Such service.As I wheeled the bike out I glanced casually at the box of baklava.

On holiday in Hastings, got unlucky with a puncture on our first day. Found High tide cycles. The guy was brilliant fixed it and my broken mudguard in 10mins. Very friendly and good price too.

Brought my bike back from the brink. It was a £10 utter deathtrap but Andy spent a day on it and I'm now looking forward to a long life of happy cycling from her. All for a perfectly reasonable price. Tip top.

The guys at High Tide Cycles fixed my sons bike quickly and at a great price.They are friendly and professional, took the time to answer questions and gave us some invaluable info. We thoroughly recommend this place!

Have just had my bike drop handlebars changed to straight handlebars with new shifters and breaks and stem extensions, done a fantastic job as bike looks and rides great. Great service
