Lee on the Solent Driving Test Centre

I Had my test on the 12/12/23 my examiner Matt Smith was very friendly and put me at ease straight away! The test centres atmosphere was very calm and the examiners all came out with a smile on their faces.I couldn’t recommend it enough! Thank you so much!

Had a great experienceVery welcoming atmosphere, has tea and snacks on the counter.My examiner Matt was very professional and gave me clear instructions which put me at ease.They are friendly but they want to maintain the standards of the test.I would recimmend this test centre to anyone who want to take the test.

Had a really great experience here with my examiner Mark. He made me feel comfortable before and during my test. I've previously had a poor experience with an examiner 5 years ago and it really changes the whole experience. The facilities are also great for those waiting patiently for your return. Would recommend Lee on the Solent and Mark.

I passed my driving test on the 13/11/2023 and it was a great experience. I had a nice examiner (called Andy) and the test was enjoyable. This test centre on the Lee on the Solent is very professional and impressive and also massive. I would highly recommend people to choose this test centre for future driving tests. It’s a great area; and I think there’s a lot of integrity and fairness with how tests are done there.

I recently had the privilege of taking my driving test at the Lee-on-the-Solent Test Center, and it was an exceptional experience. I particularly appreciate this because it ensures all drivers are held to the same standards, promoting road safety.One remarkable aspect of my visit was the thoughtfulness in providing a comfortable waiting room with goodies to eat and refresh. This made my morning rush hour test stress-free and contributed significantly to my overall sense of calm before starting the test.I recommend the Lee-on-the-Solent Test Center for anyone looking to take their driving test. Amazing driving test centre!!Took my practical driving test yesterday at the earliest time so there was a lot of work/school rush hour traffic. Considering this, my examiner immediately put me at ease from the beginning throughout the whole exam, was very clear with his instructions, explained my minors very clearly at the end, and compared to my previous experience at Poole driving test centre, it was a breath of fresh air. The test was conducted fairly, I had a great drive and passed and this was definitely due to the lovely environment where my nerves were calmed both waiting in the test centre and with my examiner who was very professional throughout the whole experience (unfortunately cannot remember his name but he was great!)Thank you Lee on The Solent!!

I was incredibly anxious trying to prepare myself for my test so much so I was sick for days before I was so physically and emotionally exhausted from worry, I done so much research into the test centre that I already knew who I wanted to be my examiner. I got that examiner and I am so grateful that I did! Andy was exceptional he made all of my anxiety disappear as soon as I met him he was reassuring and compassionate, my partner came with me on my test (I had no idea he could). Andy made me feel totally at ease and I passed my driving test first time! If I could do it again I would chose that exact test centre and that exact examiner. The centre is in the most amazing area if you’re looking to do your test I would 100% say go to Lee on the Solent.

Took my test recently with a female examiner, unfortunately I can’t remember her name but she was very nice and made me feel comfortable taking my test. This was my 2nd attempt so feeling apprehensive at the start but she made me feel at ease and was very professional. Would highly recommended anyone to take their test at Lee on Solent test center. I found all staff there very friendly and helpful.

Amazing driving test centre!My examiner Andy (not too sure if that his name but his signature is below and he had white beard) was respectful and professional! He made me feel very comfortable. I definitely recommend doing your test at this centre!

I don't often leave reviews, but I wanted to add to the others here and the praise for this test centre. I was incredibly nervous and ended up failing my test today, but even so I see it as a good experience. My examiner Mark was lovely and did what he could to help calm my nerves. He was fair and explained my faults at the end which included very useful feedback for what I need to work on. The area is lovely and we even got a bit of sun on the drive, I couldn't be more satisfied with the whole experience. Although I need to retake my test I am sure I will go into it without as much nerves next time due to the good experience in Lee-On-Solent and examiner Mark.
