Halfords - Gravesend

Appalling service. First order I couldn't collect due to not receiving an order confirmation. Halfords told me someone would contact me in 3-5 days regarding a refund. Thankfully I'd paid via PayPal who refunded me in minutes.When I re-ordered the same goods I paid for an upgraded item and received the standard item so once again Halfords had happily taken my money and failed to supply.I fully recommend shopping elsewhere as I certainly won't be using Halfords online ordering service again. They're absolutely useless.Update:As you can see below, Halfords have responded - it is a generic response that does not address the issues and is repeated after pretty much every negative review left by any customer (go take a look if you doubt me).The fact is, customer services had already failed to deal with the situation twice. Both times resulted in me taking the action myself - the first time to get the refund via PayPal (immediate refund as against the 3-5 days for someone to contact me that Halfords offered) and the second time going into the local store and dealing with the manager and resolving the situation in less than an hour rather than the 24-48 Halfords said it would take for someone to contact me (it's now over 48hrs and no attempt has been made by Halfords to telephone me).The moral of the story - don't waste your time with Halfords customer services, they take ineffectual to a whole new level.

After completing the online application process, my 18 year old son was invited for a face to face interview last week at the Gravesend branch. When he arrived, in his best suit, he was told they 'couldn't do it today' and said he would receive a new interview time via email. A day later he received an email saying that he had not made it past the application stage and the job was now filled. What a joke, probably a good thing he didn't have an interview after all!

Very impressed with the service i received from Nathan during my visit this morning.

Did not have any more Ford Black paint, none since Weds last and assistant not sure if any more has be ordered told to try Dartford .

The worst Halfords store I've ever entered, from their lack of customer assistance to their stock level. I've gone there on a few occasions and never seem to find what I'm looking for, their shelves and walls are looking bare and not stocked up. When you ask for help or assistance staff just say if it's not there we don't have it rather than helping you find an alternative or order it.

Had to wait a while as I think they were busier than expected but it was worth the wait. Friendly helpful staff (Nat) and they did a very good job of fixing a window chip.

Click and collect service was quick and easy. They offered help to my car and went above and beyond when the item wouldn’t initially fit in. They helped by removing the packaging and then was able to squeeze it in without damaging. Massive thanks to Peter and Prabh for being so helpful and for the amazing customer service

I recently had an issue with a bike I bought from the store. it was basically still new, had ridden it a few times, for short distances. It indeed had an issue as was later confirmed. Unfortunately, It took a while to get the assistance I hoped for even after a complaint which caused me some stress. I returned the bike to the store and it was eventually agreed the issue was on their part. An apology was given and an appropriate solution offered. Although, she seemed hesitant, I want appreciate the lady who attended to me for trying to make things right. Halfords generally, deserves Half a star, I think(Policy and all that) but for the store lady's attempt to solve matters, I will give three. This is because, I tried really hard to help them see the problem. I will reserve my final review for how the resolution turns out.

Came in to fix my bike yesterday as the breaks/disk was faulty (more was explained in bike language but I just took their word for it) they took my bike in overnight. I received a confirmation text thats its done on the following day (today), perfect timing as well, just before I started my break at work. Really really great service, will only come here for anything bike related now :) highly recommend and a very happy customer✌️

Paid for installation of number plates. Lasted less than 10 days. When I went to have them reinstalled, I was told to wait for a dry day and to drive illegally in the mean time.
