Have used Jean quite a few times for restringing my squash rackets and have always recieved a good service with plenty of options for string and a locations for drop off and pick up.Communicates well if there are any issues, such as with string availablity or turn around time.

Jean restrung and regripped two racquets that I hadn’t used for years. Luckily he was local and dropping them off / picking them up was very easy and flexible to times that suited me. Thanks very much Jean definitely recommend this service!

I wanted my tennis racquet restrung, they restrung my tennis racquet.So can’t really complain. But I am going to, a little bit.While I like that there are lots of locations to drop racquet off at, you don’t get a receipt or anything – and I got a message asking if my racquet had been dropped off, and did not get one confirming it had actually been received.So, it was all a bit more stressful and vague than it needed to be due to lack of communication (had they lost my racquet, stolen it, used it as a weapon with my finger-prints all over it in an elaborate murder plot?).Also, I asked for certain strings and grip; and got neither. For the grip, it probably did need full re-gripping rather than just an over-grip. But don’t know why I got different strings (again, I am willing to defer to the experts on these matters if I have made an ill-informed choice, but would be nice to know the reasoning).And the website indicated two-day turnaround, mine was five days; which again, is fine – but since I hadn’t even had communications that racquet had been received safely, this was a slightly stressful time. I appreciate height of summer is a busy time, but without coms I couldn’t commit to practice or matches.With good communications, this would be a top-rate business. As it stands, I am not sure if I would go back to them for future restringings or not.They did do a bang-up job of the racquet, in fairness.

Restrung 3 badminton racquets for me within 24 hours, not much chat but highly efficient, chucked in a free grip and re-gripped one of my shoddy grips, happy customer.

If you want an over priced poor job done then definitely choose these guys. I'm a tennis coach and have never seen 8 knots (knots are incredibly long to make matters worse). Charging premium prices for cheap strings and I'm sure they know this. Taking advantage of people who do not know better! Appalling is an understatement. Picture provided for proof! Many other better options around as Pro-string for example, cheaper and a PROFESSIONAL job done.
