You feel like you can be an amazing chef when you leave this place. All the produce is fresh and good quality. Prices are reasonable. Customer service is good and I prefer this smaller store to the bigger store in Thamesmead.And they still have Suya outside!!

Today 30th of January 2020 is the seventh time that I've experienced horrible customer service at Ades Cash and Cary Charlton branch. A customer was highly insulted by one of the butchers. This lady demanded for proper packing of all that she bought. Suddenly, argument ensued and the lady said customer' is right". The butcher replied swiftly with a loud voice "no customer is right at Ades". Everyone was amazed. He continues ranting. We advised the lady to report him to an identified senior worker called Rose. She too couldn't do anything major to please the customer. There are cctv cameras all over the store. Are they really working? Is management making use of them? I'm not against any race but these Asian guys at Ades need to be cautioned or trained on the importance of good customer service. I'm an advocate of "buy Naija" and I always patronise this store. I know many of us that witnessed what happened today might not have a listening voice hence I decided to leave a feed back here for the Ades management to work on."

Absolutely lovely staff, offering services even before I ask! Welcoming smiles and fantastic customer experience.Such a great shop too, I always find new foods to liven up my palette. New varieties of fruit and vegetables. Love the African soaps and snacks! Highly recommend.

Great place, beautifully customer centered. Though need to work on customer waiting times at the butchery especially. Definitely will come back. Good stuff Ades foods and congrats on the parking lot job.

Very great place to shop ,you name it they have it, many African products, at reasonable prices ,shop is so clean and tidy ,not forgetting the lovely moi moi,and the suya hut,so for those of you who not try ,come along ,you will never be disappointed.

I went to get Suya in particular as I was told it was sold there. I was ill immediately, stomach ached as soon after tasting the tiniest piece. Let's me start from the beginning, Friday evening, I thought let me treat my partner to some food from his origin, was told about Suya, never had it myself, however from what was described to me that led me to go to Adès. A small foil container with the toughest, rubbery, driest, tiniest pieces of beef with a dash of peppered powder on top, two wedges of tomatoes and big chunks of onions, £7.00!!!. I thought what!!! I bought it anyway, tried only the tiniest piece and felt so sick in my stomach. Took it home, boyfriend tasted it, and he was so annoyed, being Nigerian he knows what this is supposed to taste like and he just said rubbish"

Impressed with the variety of products and how affordable they are. However, the waiting time to pay is ridiculous as some of the tills remain closed even with obviously long queues. I'd still recommend Ades.

My partner has used their online service 3 times recently, and on each occasion, she paid for next day delivery, yet this people took extra two days to deliver each time.Last Saturday, she made her order and paid again for next day delivery,come today Tuesday,she is getting an alert that it is delayed till Wednesday. IF YOU CAN'T RUN A SERVICE, THEN TAKE IT OFF YOUR WEBSITE COS TAKING MONEY FOR WHAT YOU CAN'T PROVIDE IS BEING DISINGENUOUS. I AM GOING TO TAKE THIS UP. THIS IS A REAL CUSTOMER AND I CAN PROVIDE THE ORDER NO.
