What a great time we had with Dave yesterday, and indeed all of the crew on the river Tawe boat tour. I really enjoyed it myself and I was captivated by the absolute legend that is Dave. He was entertaining and informative and was super with our nieces who we were there with. This tour is perfect for anyone really. Couples, families, families with small kids or on your own if you so wish. Honestly I can’t recommend this enough

Something that I had been meaning to do for a long time and used a visit by Canadian cousins to finally go. David our ‘guide’ talked us through the obligatory safety instructions before we set off.He then entertained us with loads of interesting facts about Swansea, it’s history and current story, delivered with a smile and funny and interesting anecdotes. We were totally enthralled by his stories and knowledge. As someone who has lived in Swansea all my life I still learned lots about my city. My Canadian guests were amazed at the history lesson they were treated to by Dave.Everyone involved in the running of Copper Jack are volunteers and give their time for free and you can feel their enthusiasm for the boat and the tour they give.I would thoroughly recommend everyone to take a trip and learn a bit more about Swansea.

Would thoroughly recommend this trip. Narrated by an excellent friendly and enthusiastic volunteer guide with the aid of PowerPoint illustrations which was very informative. I was a visitor to Swansea accompanied by my sister and her husband who are Swansea residents. Appropriate for us both. Good value for money.

Interesting and enjoyable! This wasn't my first time on Copper Jack, but it was no less enjoyable than previously. Crew are all welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Being a local, it is always good to learn more of our city's heritage. Definitely recommend a trip.

We had a brilliant day out on Thursday 27th July enjoying an interesting cruise up the Tawe seeing a part of Swansea we had never seen and enjoying learning about the history of the area. The crew were brilliant and Roger who narrated our trip was a delight to listen to. Thank you for a great trip.

We had a very chilled and lovely time on board the Copper Jack, and for someone who didn't know anything about Swansea before, we left with some amazing knowledge about the city. Very interesting history! We paid only £30 for a family of 4, that's a bargain.I saw some comments about the trip not being suitable for little ones which I don't agree with. There were many toddlers on board our trip and they were running up and down having fun and the staff were so kind to them, even taking out crayons for them to draw with. If they were getting inpatient there was an area at the back where some parents could take them to distract them a bit.As for a racism comment, we're a mixed family and there was absolutely no uncomfortableness or bias there. In fact, they seemed to embrace all the cultures and places the customers came from and we all had a lovely time!
