Accidently I owed them £40 for a cancelled policy as my daughter had passed her driving test. (I was firstly telephoned - the person asked for my daughter, using wrong name). This wasn't a problem. Its was my fault - i owed the money. The problem was the barrage of emails with threats if I didn't pay on the same day as I received the email.I got and text messages. I was made to feel like I owed them £1000's. I paid two days after I was phoned about the outstanding amount. After approx. 4 threatening emails and texts from Collingwood. Just left a sour taste, I wont recommend them to my friends or family.

Repeatedly asked for my log book in my name or the insurance will be cancelled. I repeatedly told them that the reputable garage id bought it from had dealt with the log book, I hadn't seen it.My local council was willing to wait till I received it.They came across as bullies.

Beware of using this company.. We paid for a years insurance to find out 18 months later we have to pay £40 cancellation fee as we did not cancel or renew the policy the company cancelled it in our behalf and kept the months remaining on the policy instead of offering a refund and charge a cancellation fee. So if you are going ahead with this company be mindful you need to add £40 on top of the price for when there services are no longer required. Hardly treating customers fairly.

Unbelievable - Called today to cancel my daughters policy as she passed her test. And amazingly, as the policy was just over 8 months old (as they call it 'into the 9th month'), they said that not only do I get no refund (which I was kind of expecting), but I also have to pay £40 to end it early. If the policy had run to the end, then there would have been no fee to pay. Absolutely ridiculous and simply a total con. Funny though that they even asked is I wanted to take new driver insurance out with them!!!!!

Similar story to the other poor scores here. Paid for the year and at 5 months exactly was given 3.75 refund on the 7 months not used due to fees. Cheep insurance until you factor the fees in. 240 for a 5 month policy is much more expensive than others out there that would have pro rata the refund with no fees. It’s not allways best going for what looks like the cheapest quote as I have learnt. Do your research on cancellation with the other firms before deciding. On a positive it was easy to cancel online and the email for confirmation and refund came through quickly.

AVOID DO NOT USE THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY....!! £40 CANCELLATION CHARGE when you pass your test...!!! They're a learner driver company so they stitch everyone up £40 when you pass...will not be using for my next child....!!!Oh and when they pass they take £100 fees etc the next day.......!!!AND THEY FLAG UP YOUR REVIEW ON TRUSTPILOT TO SAY ITS NOT GENUINE....TRYING TO GET THE TRUTH REMOVED....!!!

BEWAREI took this learner driver insurance out in my son's name so he could learn to drive. I cancelled it after 8 months as he had passed his test. They charge a £40 cancellation fee. They have threatened to pass it to their collections department if i don't pay and have warned me this can seriously affect my credit score and therefore your ability to apply for credit in the future".The charge is hidden in the t&cs
